It's an interesting way to approach troons, I'll say. Unlike TERFs, Rowling seems to actually be interested in treating this as a media/cultural problem even if it might not work.

For what it's worth I don't think she's a TERF herself, just a bit dim and unable to keep her opinions to herself.

TERF is nearly meaningless as a term anyway. All it means now is anyone who doesn't believe every single word of the troon gospel, no matter what their ideological or simply rational reasons for doing so are. It's like Nawtsee, fascist, etc.

That's what always happens with progressive types. They run their insults to the ground, and then complain that people don't care about being called "-ist" anymore. Rowling is absolutely a proud feminist, but going so far as to call her "radical" is one of those stretches that just weakens the term.

The only difference between Rowling and a lot of other feminists is she is sitting on top of a billion dollars and can afford to piss off an army of social media troons, because they can't do shit to her. There are a lot of other angry feminists sick of being shit on by these men.

I don't really see a problem with this comment. It sounds like they're calling her out for exactly what you're saying. Obviously she doesn't need to apologize for dating a man, but it would make sense for her to make an apology to people for saying that it's such a horrific thing to do, and then go and do that herself.

Anyway it appears as though she's not dating him anymore regardless. She posted a video on Instagram rambling about some spiritual journey she's on and very briefly mentioned that they had broken up.
That didn't last long. 🥴
It looks like she made her Twitter private as well. I wonder what that's about.

It won't. If you try to download a live stream you only get the stream from the point you record onwards. E.g.

curl `youtube-dl -g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttvIHcPwzbI`

You only get a few .ts files, enough to fill a player buffer, not all the .ts files from the start of the video.

In fact you can count 'em like this

Run it a couple of times you get the same answer. Youtube will give you a sliding window of 7 .ts files, each ~5 seconds long so you can fill a 30s buffer.

Hopefully the stream chat is able to be archived as well. An unhinged man who calls himself Katie often joins the streams to make a spectacle of himself and there was quite a lot of him today.

I think Kelly must've lost reception while she was streaming, hence the strange error message.
