"Hitler was bad but at least he wasn't Trump." is apparently the stage we're at, now.

Hitler also killed six million jews, instead of kowtowing to Israel. I'm glad Jeff is finally getting woke on Adolf Hitler.

I know this tangentially related, but I saw some bullshit poll that said Millenials and Gen-Z had little knowledge on the Holocaust, which I HARDLY believe, my history classes wouldn't shut the fuck up about it in high school. But more importantly, if these dickheads keep screaming how Trump is either literal, or worse than, Hitler, it only makes people more ignorant and ill-informed. So good job retards, in your efforts to smear DRUMPF you're literally marginalizing the atrocities a mass murdering, genocidal, maniacal dictator because you can't stand a guy who was democratically elected.
The poll in question.
Link to archive of original thread.Hi Reddit!
We're the author and illustrator of "The President's New Clothes", a self published parody of The Emperor's New Clothes featuring a naked Donald Trump.
As part of our online campaign to raise awareness for voting, we've been leaving hundreds of copies of our book at stores locally in Texas and planning on leaving hundreds of more before the election.
You can read the entire full book on our website and download a printable copy for free
or in response to someone asking "What's it like being so pathetic?"Was having margaritas and talking about the upcoming election and discussing how we could get involved in creating something sharable to encourage people to vote.
Not sure who had the original idea, but we thought the idea of The Emperor's New Clothes really made sense for his presidency and all the ridiculous controversies he's been a part of that no one stopped him on.
And then during margaritas, my co-author said he could make a 3d model of trump naked pretty easily and so the next day we started writing, putting together images and contacting book publishers
Here's an archive of the user overview in case anyone wants to go mining for any other interesting comments.I wouldn't consider myself pathetic.. my parents on the other hand might. Disappointed? Yeah probably that too.
Moral code? I would like to think I do. I spent weeks working on this book not to body shame someone, but to raise awareness and emphasis on the idea of 'the emperor's new clothes' and our sitting president who continues to do and say stupid things ('covid-19 is a fake news lie' as hundreds of thousands died) and none of the republicans will do anything about it.
It's dangerous short term (ex: corona) and long term (ex: climate change) having this man lead our country.
I encourage you to read the book on our website. We wrote it as a simple basic language rhyming childrens book, so even the republicans could understand it.
Apologies if this has already been posted, I found an AMA linked from r/AMADisasters of an author that was dumping their self-published Orange man bad book at local book stores in Texas. Surprisingly, reddit actually came together to take a dump on how stupid they were being and for making it hard on bookstore workers. I sadly wasn't able to grab an archive with the OPs message but someone from the r/AMADisasters thread managed to grab it:

Their comments in the thread reek of strong TDS with stuff like this:

I took a flip through the book and it is incredibly disturbing. I'm greatly concerned about the kind of people that would actually find this funny.

Isn't it the 2000s version of Star Wars with the same thing hapening to it ironically enough. Shit sequels and prequels (i think the Star Wars prequels are fine but Jar Jar needs to fuckin die).Yes, she's an old fashioned liberal not a radical progressive lunatic. HP has gone a bit out of fashion as a result, as well as the fact the series has been over for a while.

If Donald Trump is a fake President then I guess I want fake Presidents from now on instead of real Presidents. Fake Presidents get shit done and root out establishment stooges.
You can taste the cope.

Cortisol is a hormone that is secreted during times of stress, like driving yourself crazy because the Orange Man is bad. Among other things, continued elevated levels of cortisol can lead to such ailments as a weakened immune system, muscle wasting, osteoporosis, and hippocampus damage leading to impaired learning ability. Collectively, these and other stress-related effects are referred to as allostatic load, and if this constant stress isn't relieved, it can lead to permanently changed brain architecture and a reduction in the ability to cope with future uncertainty.I'm sure there are some studies on the effects of a pro-longed feeling of fear and anxiety. I know it isn't healthy but there's gotta be some kind of study on it.

I knew it was unhealthy, I just want to know exactly how fucked these people are and will be after 8 years of 100% stress levels and anxiety.I don't think you really need a scientific study to see that TDSers are literally making themselves less healthy by obsessing over the Bad Orange Man.
It’s a tough time for Generation Z. Mental health problems, specifically mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, are skyrocketing. Gen Z is the least likely to report good or excellent mental health and the most likely to report poor or fair mental health. Suicide rates for US teens and young adults are the highest ever.
. . .
In their co-authored book, The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure, Haidt and Lukianoff examine Gen Z’s mental health problem. They argue that youths have been immersed in a world characterized by paranoid concerns for safety, which distorts their thoughts and is detrimental to their mental well-being.
“Many university students are learning to think in distorted ways, and this increases their likelihood of becoming fragile, anxious, and easily hurt,” they say.
