4: Disney released some new mobile game last month which no one gave a shit about called Starfighter Missions. What's notable about this turd is that it brought back a shit ton of old canon content and characters which I find disturbingly suspicious. More so than any other Disney project in recent memory, and not just individuals from the games but even the old magazines and the TCG, material Disney never touched before in the last 6 years. The most notable return is Keyan Farlander, the protagonist of the old X-Wing games and one of Luke's most notable and accomplished padawans, with the game even using a traced version of his old TCG artwork.

This feels incredibly insulting to say the least. They brought back one of Luke's most accomplished pupils for some mobile game after completely buttfucking Luke's legacy. Worst still is that 4 years ago Disney replaced this guy's role in old canon with a genderswapped mary sue OC from Marvel comics who Leia wouldn't stop fawning over. Me and @Itchy Bacca discussed her in the thread a while back I think and she was essentially just a genderbent Luke who even stole his wardrobe, making the character just one big knockoff.

This is just a side effect of Kennedy being a wine mom and out of touch even with those. She knows that wine mom and women in general tend to prefer casual games, with phones being one of the biggest markets for it. She also likely is aware that these phone games are pretty damn cheap to make.

My suspicions:

Industry relative (who did back office stuff) was once fired from a production, escorted from the lot by security; almost assured because the current production runner had a toadie or side piece they wanted to give a do-nothing job to. But in the approximately 10-15 minutes it took security to show up and walk them to the gate, the show runner was fired and replaced; the new guy was realized they needed someone to do what industry relative did, had been told they had someone who had just been fired, and then had security radioed to see if the person they were escorting out was still there and ask them wanted their job back;Relative did so security gave them back their badge and sent them on their way.
Shit changes that fast.

That is not the only story of being removed and then rejoined to a production, but its the most dramatic.

Pascal might be smelling blood in the water. He's attached to the one bright spot in Star Wars/D+, and with KKK's contract coming up he could be feeling the winds shifting - even if currently fired, assuming there's changes at the top, the new power structure may want him back, ESPECIALLY if he kept quiet about the whole business.
