Who's gonna do it first?

I know the drama has been briefly mentioned previously in the thread and it's a bit late (inb4 alarm clocks), but I need to share the announcement the mods of r/gocommitdie made before closing down the subreddit. If you forgot, r/gocommitdie was a subreddit where people made memes about literally a children's game, meaning that there were mostly children inside the subreddit. The subreddit did not have a "racism problem", AHS did not even once post about them before. Keep that in mind when reading the post.

This was actually posted unironically by a Roblox subreddit moderator, with the intent to make the users (mostly children) read this and force their opinion on them. Naturally, people freaked out and the announcement was shared everywhere on reddit. Then AHS stepped in to defend the mods, but caused collateral damage by trying to doxx the "racist" commenters. The chaos unfolded and turned into a reddit tier autistic shitshow, one that you rarely get to see on a site where every wrongthink gets removed after 5 seconds. Ultimately the mods begrudingly locked the subreddit, but not before updating their description to this:

Seriously, this whole thing was so absurd that I think it needed more attention on here. It's the perfect example of how reddit moderators see the world and themselves.

>Forcing your leftist political views in place where politics are unlikely to even be brought up
>r/cp r/AHS gets involved and things go to shit

Just another day on Reddit.

Would pair perfectly with this little number.

Bonus points: This image was probably taken in Britain because durex own the fucking game over here.
I don't know if any yanks actually use durex lube (Like most lubes, you shouldn't because they all have nasty shit in them) but it's basically the only lube sold in "normal" stores
IE: Chemists, supermarkets etc.

Oh, mmm, delightful. This is just perfect. Could not be better if it were satire.

Let me count the ways:
  • The dawning realization of why people maybe, just maybe, might be attracted to conservative ideas
  • The "Let's have a positive discussion or I'll block you" flair
  • The unspoken but still very clear implication that this is someone else's problem to fix
  • The "I identified an issue, help me add to my list of issues with this problem" without a "Let's find solutions" as if defining a problem magically makes it go away
  • The seeking of reassurance they are not alone, but the obvious fear that they are
  • 76% upvoted
All this does it make Scientific American look less prestigious. The lunatics are running the asylum.

Is it just me or is this really fucking ugly?
So my understanding of autism is that it’s a brain condition that starts at birth and presents itself when the child is about 2 years old. At this point it is very important that the child is diagnosed and they get the special attention that they need. The supper spazzed out autistic people you see today are the ones who were never really taken care of, while the high functioning ones are the ones who got the special, specific help for kids with autism.

what this picture tells me is the parent didn’t do a good job, or somewhere lacked in the care for the kid. Now the kids all fucked up, but man he’s good with a grill! And it’s just so... ugh. So ugly.
