They were raised to be. The concept of personal suffering to benefit society as a whole is a weird one, but it's everywhere. That's the sad part about all of it, I think- it's an illusion of choice for them. If they "choose" to suffer for being white, then they feel like they have control.

So we've seen every single white person who defended themselves against the mob be arrested and dearmed.

How bad would the violence have to get for it to not result in mass arrests for whites. If these Louisville protesters start breaking into homes and killing people, and the neighborhood starts killing protesters in retaliation would it get to the point where cops would just intervene to stop but not arrest anyone?

I think back to 2005 Hurricane Katrina when people did use lethal force on many looters but the breakdown in social order due to the hurricane prevented the zog troopers from arresting red blooded Americans. Is it possible we could see that in this day and age?

At this point, I think if enough Louisville protestors break into people's homes to kill them and end up getting ventilated, there won't be enough grounds to do mass arrests since castle laws are much stronger for your actual home and the chaos will be enough that a mass arrest would not be efficient.

We're not quite on the level of Hurricane Katrina's breakdowns but keep in mind that race relations were better in 2005 compared to 2020 and the fact that you had Bush in the White House and the notoriously corrupt local government in New Orleans meant that it was far easier to find a scapegoat, especially since the civil unrest was caused by a major natural disaster.

Richmond's city government is more sympathetic than your typical Southern city but this shit is also the kind of thing that could help Trump make inroads in Virginia in 2020 and deal a serious blow to the NoVAcrats in 2020 and the big state elections in 2021.
