Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at 87. - 🦀

Honestly, it's pretty easy to go doom and gloom when things don't go 100% like you want them to. Look at the happenings thread over the last few months.
Listen man, those Antifa skulls should have been cracked since June.

But in all seriousness, I still waiting to see if the Dems want to commit political suicide with Impeachment 2: Orange Man Badder.

There's a mechanism to appoint judges, but not to remove them except maybe impeachment which has never actually been put into practice.
You aren't removing them from their position though. You're removing the position. It's legally distinct.
The "Constitution doesn't say how many Supreme Court Justices there ought to be" argument cuts both directions.

It would cost them New York and Massachusetts. I don't think they are that stupid? At least not the ones in the Senate... Well excepting Feinstein, who already did just that last go round with Amy Barret Comey and got curbstomped by the Judge for it. Harris and Warren who hate Catholics and Christian's, and Schumer, who's just a fucking moron.
We need to call it like uh... crap, its a bitch finding a good name. Maybe @It's HK-47 's Law? Its the opposite of that law about headlines that are also questions, because when anyone is asking if the Dems are that stupid, the answer is automatically "yes".

Indeed. What better way to celebrate the life of a backdoor-legislating activist judge than to do push-ups next to her coffin while the lügenpresse look on admiringly? What a beautiful moment. It's just a shame he didn't wear a do-rag and a huge gold dollar sign necklace to show solidarity with our poor oppressed people of color. How disrespectful.

As a catholic I found it offer that there are a lot of catholics that are leaning Biden right now. Like dudes not a devoted catholic.

Also way am I not being polled wait now. I would proudly say I am a catholic voting for Trump right now.

Keep in mind that you have a fair bit of nominally Catholic CINO's or even atheists who are still technically listed as Catholic on the records in several blue state cities and suburbs and there's the usual issue of the silent majority. Plus a lot of Catholic Boomers and the geezers from the Silent Generation who are still around remember the staunch anti-Catholic antics of the mostly Evangelical Protestant Religious Right, who dominated the Republican Party from 1980 to around 2010 or so.

Its... stupid.

Personally, I think Barnes is just salty that Trump didn't pick his favoured candidate. Mind, Trump still could because he is playing coy with actually confirming it. Still, its stupidity.

While it would help in Florida to pick Lagoa... Lagoa also has less time on the bench, less of a track record, and thats SAYING something since I honestly hold that BARRETT has too little time on the bench.
Barnes favorite candidate is Rushing a 38 year old woman he knew had no chance getting the nomination because she's 38. His issues with Barrett existed before this nomination and prior to Kavanough there wasn't a lockdown and Barrett didn't issue a decision favorably citing a ruling the was the basis and justification for forced sterilization of 80k poor women in this country and deoriving the Japanese of all their rights dueing WW2 whether they were citizens or not. Not just detaining them, but taking away their property.

But sure, Barnes is just salty Trump didn't pick Lagoa and his complaints with Barrett have nothing to do with the reasons he has expressly stated. 🙄

If he merely expressed disagreement, sure. But he is saying picking Barrett means suddenly Trump has far less chance to possibly win.

Proportionate response, his isn't and is him being super salty. You can have good reasons for preferring a thing AND be a salty shit when you don't get it.

Seeing as the dems have pretty much air horned the intent to use mail in voting fraud to win theres a high chance we are getting Gove v Bush 2 and if Barrett doesnt get confirmed then the court will be 4-4 when the case gets to court. Yeah, I'd say Barret lowers Trumps chances to win.

That's before you factor in Barrett is outspokenly pro-life and a part of a Catholic sect that called its women "hand maidens" prior to the tv show being a thing and that not playing well with suburban women who didn't vote for republicans in 2018 and are traditionally Trump's weakpoint.

Idk, maybe he's thought about it and has a fucking point.

Or maybe he has a bunch of biases he shows fairly regularly and is giving in to them. Just because he's a smart lawyer doesn't mean he is somehow immune to bias. In fact, he is fairly steeped in his own bias, as any casual viewing of him talking reveals. His intelligence does usually allow him to rise above it, but to put it frankly I do not believe he is here. He's a lawyer, not a political scientist. He is overthinking the importance of a judge to the left, under thinking other factors such as removing the seat as an option entirely depreciates the lefts ability to make hay of this, and giving in to his own ego and self importance.

Salt that HIS favored candidate didn't get in.
I think Barnes farm account is @Getting tard comed
Kyle Kulinski still covering Alex Jones despite Big Tech has driven him into a darkness and turning him into a non-factor.
We will live in our hearts

I knew it would ACB becuase she was like second to Kavanagh. I think she will do fine as a superme court Judge

Nah, probably just a fan. On matters of Law Barnes is one of the smartest voices in the room. Not -always- right, but fairly significantly so. He is also articulate and just the right amount of publicly arrogant to get a following. So understandably, people quite like the man.

Overthinking the importance of a judge to the party that threatened a constitutional nuclear bomb because of it.... OK. That makes sense. Underthinking the only way the left has been able to push the changes in law they wanted has been through judicial legislation... OK.

What would be better than attacking Barnes, would be to refute his points. Explain why Barnes isn't the bad judge he thinks she is or break down how ACB's pro life, her religious views being "radical" to Catholics and extremely "traditional" gender roles to put it kindly won't hurt Trump in the election with a demo he is already struggling with instead of hand waving what hes saying away.

I never heard of him until now. Also people should remmber that the dems are going to act like assholes to her during the hearing especially becusse she is replacing RGB. So keep in mind the dems are going to shoot themselves in the foot.

Also debate night will be on this Tuesday. So I wonder how things where changed when it clear to everyone Biden is not alive on stage.

Using Roe v. Wade and the Handmaiden's Tale to encourage white women to not support the candidate? Where have I heard that before?

The Democrats in competitive states who voted no on Kavanaugh lost their seats. It was the reason there was an increase in the Senate Majority for the first time since JFK in the first midterm.

Trump could've nominated the reanimated head of RBG and they would still use the same attack lines. They always characterize GOP SC Court picks like this. This is why Barnes said it was already factored in before he got his feelings hurt.

Overthinking and underthinking the political importance to an electorate. This really should have gone without saying but I guess it didn't...
