U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

These things are made to be used in a riot and some salty water will 'short' them out? Does the 'anti-fascist unicorn' realize that they're not perpetually on and would shed liquids pretty much immediately?

And anyone who thinks that it would 'drain the battery' by somehow forming a 'path' to ground thanks to the water dripping off...
Not to mention that even if they're always on, the high heat generated by the flow of current would immediately evaporate the water (if not decompose it into hydrogen and oxygen outright) and open the short.

Isnt the recipe in the anarchists cookbook just styrofoam and gasoline?
It also involved grated soap if I recall correctly, that you had to melt in the heated up gasoline.
If I remember right it also involved fucking boiling gasoline or some stupid shit like that.
Not boiling, but heating it up in a pan. Don't know how my stupid 15 year old self is still alive...

You must be thinking of thermite, which doesn't burn through brick. Napalm certainly doesn't.
This did. Took chunks out of the brick wall that we threw it on as a "test" after it stopped burning...

If anyone brings up Malcolm X in regards to this stuff, just post this quote from a letter he sent 2 days before his assassination. Really takes the wind out of their arguments.

"Listening to leaders like Nasser, Ben Bella, and Nkrumah awakened me to the dangers of racism. I realized racism isn't just a black and white problem. It's brought bloodbaths to about every nation on earth at one time or another.

Brother, remember the time that white college girls came into the restaurant‍—‌the one who wanted to help the [Black] Muslims and the whites get together‍—‌and I told her there wasn't a ghost of a chance and she went away crying? Well, I've lived to regret that incident. In many parts of the African continent, I saw white students helping black people. Something like this kills a lot of argument. I did many things as a [Black] Muslim that I'm sorry for now. I was a zombie then‍—‌like all [Black] Muslims‍—‌I was hypnotized, pointed in a certain direction and told to march. Well, I guess a man's entitled to make a fool of himself if he's ready to pay the cost. It cost me 12 years.

That was a bad scene, brother. The sickness and madness of those days‍—‌I'm glad to be free of them."

Somewhat off topic to your post, but I'll point out that "rioting is the voice of the unheard" is a direct MLK quote. He rejected violence not on a moral basis but on a strategic one (it was bad optics), and would never support the arrest of violent people in his movement, seeing them as merely misguided rather than evil.

The philandering communist fraud was not the saint conservatives make him out to be, that image created by the same media brainwashing we're seeing now. 50 years from now, expect people to condemn whatever the current race riots are as dishonoring the memory of Peaceful George Floyd Protest Heroes (TM).

I hope this answers Random Internet Person's question on how they will cancel MLK.

My thing about the quote is that it is being used to justify beating, burnings and even outright murder. That this has escalated beyond simple rioting and is clearly organized, it has intent behind it. It is not the actions of desperate people trying to improve their lot in life, but people destroying for the sake of destruction.

The home made napalm recipe works... it will get so hot it burns through brick walls, and water doesn’t do anything. Found that out in the 90’s when I was a dumb kid. A lot of it is bollocks though.

Did... Did you accidentally recreate Greek Fire?

MLK did say “riots are the language of the unheard” but most who brings up that line do not know the full context of the quote. Before that line, he talks about how blacks would be stupid to attempt a violent revolution in America.

This is how you can tell whether or not someone has read Malcolm X’s autobiography. When I was a teen, I knew that Malcolm turned away from the divisive teachings of the Nation of Islam after going to Mecca. None of these idiots who act like they are smarter than everyone else knows the full arc of Malcolm’s life. To them, he is another pawn in their justifications for violence, nothing more nothing less.

Just want these dindus out of my sight.

I don't live in Louisville if that's what you mean. Just watching on stream.

I'm really broke so I'm working to get one ASAP but it's at the top of my list. I grew up in a "guns are evil and should be taken away" house growing up so I probably would have tried getting one long before these riots broke out.

Join a legit gun club, with dues (ideally cheaper than a secondhand gat). The nicer ones with actual clubhouses next to their ranges are just like golf-courses; they sell new & used guns for far cheaper than you'd find online, and also rent/loan them for use on the range.

Train & make friends, the way things are going, it's not difficult to find friends willing to loan spare firearms to friends/family without.

I will say that even though these developments infuriate me daily, one of the bright rays of promise is that DSP's condo value outside Seattle is heading down the toilet.
Along with bacon grease.
Actually its probably going to go up, as most people are just going to flee the city for the suburbs. Amazon has DSP's city listed as one of the places to put new offices in.
