Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Where would he be in Sweden?
A Fucking White Male.

Really though as far as I can tell Sweden is mega cucked, but they surprisingly have more of a vibrant right-wing than we do. It's just more powerless in the face of the globo-homo majority government because of the way their system works. Sweden benefits from having pretty incompetent federal spying so their right-wing groups aren't entrapped by glowies like ours are.

I hate to be an absolute retard, chief. Can you break it down for me?
No problem fren

Trump makes $1 a year and donates $399,999 to charity.

In the US, charitable donations are deducted from your income, so his adjusted taxable income is $1 (the other money just “went straight to charity”).
You also only pay 10% taxes if you make under $19,500 as a married couple, so having paid $750, we can deduce that Trump’s federally taxable adjusted gross income was around $7500.

Where did the other money come from? It has to be taxable, so it’s not municipal bonds (which are usually also not federally taxed) - it’s probably residual income, or one-time income from sale of property. Or maybe something Melania did, if he did file jointly. He’s also in the 10% single tax bracket at under $9,700/month.

Is it also helped by the fact that it's the one place on Earth where LARPing as a Viking is believable?

I bet he's smart enough to realize $400k/yr income from one of his many companies, to get it for "free" while writing down his salary every year he is President. If he could structure it as an expense on that company's books, that reduces its tax bill too.

Finance gets fun once you cross a certain threshold and have lawyers on call to do whatever you need.

I think half of them just don't bother to pay and ignore it when they're called on it. What's the IRS gonna do, arrest the people that are in charge of letting them arrest the commoners?
They make the laws in the first place, silly!

They just pick something they're already doing then declare in the tax code: "Except this! Can't tax this."

"I'm proud of my viking heritage."

The problem there is, you just create an echo chamber. I go into a TES thread and they are talking about how Trump is so feeble he can't walk down a ramp. Then I watch the video, listen to his speech, and it turns out he wears leather soled shoes, so he had to shuffle or go ass end over, then in the uncut video, he walks normally as soon as he gets off the ramp.

And I'm sure in this thread, we've gotten stuff wrong and could use some correction. But it seems everyone is happy with their echochambers. Okay then. Seems everyones happy with the arrangement.
There is no "echo chamber".
I listen to both sides regularly. Its just happens one side isnt filled with deceitful double talking rhetoric from people who will back Stab you as soon you breathe wrong.

In this case, the TDS comes from being desperate to portray Trump as a failed business man.

Meanwhile what righties actually think of Trump's tax returns:

They do not understand that conservative, right-leaning and even a good fragment of libertarians fundamentally hate taxes and at best see taxation as a necessary evil.
This plan to "EXPOSE DRUMPF!" would be the same as Republicans trying to "expose" a Liberal by leaking that they had an abortion or are an illegal immigrant - it'd be useless because their base loves those things.

In any non-Anglosphere country he'd be center-left or center-right.
I wish I could give this comment alone 10,000 trophies.

Are we just supposed to pretend that we didn't know this, already? He came out and blatantly said it before the fucking election in 2016. This constant merry-go-round of outrage is getting really stale. They need to hire some new writers.

One of my coworkers (who believes Trump needs to be in jail for all he's done) brought up the article, claiming it was quite juicy in terms of what it revealed.
Except... it isn't. All its core points where known well beforehand or could be predicted by anyone with a functioning brain.

I half-suspect that Trump has been jerking their chain on this specifically because its a nothing burger. Something for them to gnash their teeth at and throw away tons of resources for... literally nothing.

Oh hey, Silver finally gave up pretending impartiality.
