I think some of us feel like Greg right now. Like you just want to vibe out on studying cryptids or something silly and fun. But what if you're stuck with someone who hasn't stopped screeching about politics for like, 10 years? You'd GTFO at some point. That's just reasonable. People who compare capitalism to feudalism are seriously autistic. Capitalism today isn't perfect and it can be critiqued quite a bit, but it's 1000x better than actual feudalism.
Saying today's system is equal to the horrors of feudalism, it's like comparing working at McDonald's to being a sex slave just because you don't want to do it. It's a shit comparison.

At the end of the day, most of these people just don't like that reality means working.
