But then she wouldn't have Twitter likes to give her the shot of saccharine approval and acceptance she's hooked on, and she might even realize that her anxiety is--shock! horror!--her own problem, and not Rowling's fault.

It seems like almost everything makes Ash/Anna miserable. They don't even like it when CIS dudes compliment them (cause the dudes do it wrong). I don't doubt that Ash/Anna loves their daughter, but I bet it can't be easy to be the daughter of such an angry, picky person who hates anyone lower than them on the progressive stack.

She's got a lot of self-loathing and unresolved issues, so she turns to SocJus and Troonery Lite to make them all someone else's fault.

Much like I asked in the BABD thread, do you think Ash/Anna would like or hate Cuties? I haven't seen any mention of it on their Twitter, let alone the farmer joke that made all the SPOP fans mad (Ash liked the show).

Ash/Anna seems to like anything as long as it's queer. Why else would she love NuShe-Ra despite the fact that the main lesbian relationship in it (Catra x Adora) is actually quite abusive (knowing her hate towards "abusiveness")? If you're interested, here's more on the game which Ash/Anna is writing an adventure for (which is heavily based off of She-Ra and the Princess of Power).

One of the rules of SocJus is that abused people can't be abusers, and vice versa. I'm sure Anna has all kinds of mental gymnastics to explain why the abuse she doles out doesn't count as abuse.

It's stuff like this that's the reason I see non-binary as a pretentious term.

Other than that, Ash is working on a new game which isn't depressing so that's a start. It's a constantly happy ending series about oddball romantic relationships that are a metaphor for transgenderism or queerness.

-Check out the comments on this one that proves that despite their height on the progressive stack, Ash still bows down to the BIPOCs.

Did you ever stop to think that gates exist for a reason, Anna? The overwhelming majority of small-press games out there are shit, and a lack of playtesting is a major contributor to that.
