Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You can view Joe Biden's megathread here, and Donald Trump's megathread here

Yeah
The full quote, I thought, was just him saying that they don't do anything. They stand by while antifa does the violence.
Yeah it was the one meme from a while back, the "plan" of standing by and letting the left eat their own.

Because Trump isn't playing 4D chess, he's not as lucid and informed on issues as many of you think he is, and he doesn't often really know what is going on. He doesn't know enough to vocalize how dumb this shit is.
Trump reminds me of a college student who read a few politics books and all of sudden becomes arrogant with his opinions.

If anything, we'd probably see more proud boys if Biden wins. As antifa will probably be given a carte blanche license to do whatever the fuck they want with the dems in charge.
Biden already said "violence isn't the answer" during the debate. Antifa clearly doesn't give a fuck about Biden, they'll act independently and burn whatever they want.
Antifa isn't even an organized movement, it's just random fucking college-age commie larpers going around and burning buildings like idiots. If anything they'd be giant Bernie fans.

Honestly you're dead on the money. I have to admit I'm a bit of an optics cuck, I just hate him giving them ammo.
They will parade the white supremacist part around, but honestly don't think that will do anything. No one is going to see that and go "well, the last 4 years of shit didn't convince me, but this specific gaffe has me on team Biden".

Well crazy night. Seeing different opinions from here and Daily Wire.

Honestly I still have hopes that Trump does well forward

Agreed, but he'll never mention that regarding CRT. It's always going to be a comeback about how it's "Against Americans" even though everyone knows that it's only about one demographic where if you ever mention their interests you're automatically a white supremacist (not that they don't already call him that on every day that ends with a Y).

Biggest problem with Trump trying to address CRT is that you really need to go deep down the rabbit hole to explain just how stupid and poisonous it is, and these Presidential debates really aren't the format to accomplish that.

Biden already said "violence isn't the answer" during the debate. Antifa clearly doesn't give a fuck about Biden, they'll act independently and burn whatever they want.

No they are indeed a organized group

So, objectively. Who won?

I voted Trump in the poll but really no one. Trump lost the less.

Biden claimed things that were obviously not true while Trump said things that were exaggerations or clearly said for effect. There is a huge difference.

Biden claimed there is no mail-in-ballot malfeasance and that is provably false.

Biden quoted the inject bleach line and that is an outright lie through distortion of something Trump said with some pretty clear sarcasm.

Biden incorrectly recalled numbers, again, and was often rattled.

Wallace answered questions for Biden.

At one point Biden proved he had received the questions(at least from where I sit) by starting to answer a future question which Wallace quickly reigned in.

I believe Biden was being fed lines by some means. At one point Trump was saying something and Biden muttered "I'm not going to listen to him". In fact, Biden muttered frequently and at least once balled up a fist.

Trump hit Biden on his misremembering of his college name and the fact that Biden graduated at the bottom of this class. This may lead people to look into that and find out that Biden plagiarized in college, that Biden copped lines from people for speeches without citation, that Biden lied about being on a full scholarship, and that he lied about graduating higher in his class than he did.

I am sure the MSM will paint this as a magnificent Biden win but it was no such thing. Biden was on display largely for the first time after months of hiding and he was a mess.

Sure, Trump was Trump. He was an asshole bully and I would wager that most voters are used to dismissing half of what Trump says. Biden on the other hand showed that he can no longer debate. That he cannot really stop himself from being dragged into the mud and that he really has no idea what is going on.

Finally Biden took credit for achievements of the Obama administration. He also allowed himself to be filmed saying Hunter did nothing wrong and that was a huge mistake because people saw this...the MSM may not be able to wrangle everyone and they might just find out that Hunter was into some shit and Son of a Bitch Joe might just be involved too.

So I just logged into fb to see what the reactions have been to the debates and what do I find? the very first thing on my news feed is the nutty mid 30s insanely self righteous cat lady that screeches and seethes about trump every ten seconds and repeats every insane conspiracy theory the media has tried to push about trump so far like its gospel. What is her reaction? and I quote: '.....watched the debate. going to bed with nerves frayed' so that tells you what even a fanatically true believer felt about bidens performance tonight

Hot Take before crashing:

Trump did not gain any votes, Biden LOST votes. How? By dismantling the support Biden was getting from his base by attacking him over and over.

1. Antifa/BLM; called an idea not a movement, disavowed as a nothing burger. Also said he would support MORE cops not less and NOT defund the police.

2. Green Deal: Said "NOPE The biden plan! not the green deal! No way!" and supported or opposed it and went back and forth. Not 100% clear but told AOC to fuck off with it, that this is Biden's plan not hers.

3. Waffling moderates: Not sure they like where Biden looked old, deflated, and couldn't stand upto the 'bully' of Trump. Usually this is the "Wine Mom" segment and they do love an agressive, strong, confident man (see bill clinton v bush debates). Joe's shitty chuckles and gaffes didn't help win him any points with them.

4. I AM THE PARTY!: Soooo peolsi is not gonna be happy about that quote, someone better tell Bernie he's now gotta obey Biden's edicts. Also the amount of people dead in America due to covid is .01% which is roughly the amount of indian blood Warren has her....makes you think ya know?

Trump didn't GAIN any voting blocks here but he now caused the Democratic party to fracture into camps to repair the damage Biden did. This will require much ass kissing all around and placating, and that's more time to clean up the mess than going on the attack after Trump.

I'm glad Trump exposed California for their piss-poor management to their own forests. All those taxes and federal funding, yet they can't even be bothered to clean up? And I am certain that a portion of those fires were agitators trying to destroy more shit.
This isn't the first time either. Last time the media called him a retard because "OMG DRUMPF THINKS FORESTS HAVE FLOORS HES MENTALLY UNFIT" They must not have paid attention in elementary school science. If he'd mentioned the forest canopy, it would've been "DRUMPF THINKS FORESTS HAVE ROOFS"

:stress:
All he had to do was play for the moderates and look more confident and self-assured than the man who has to keep re-starting his sentences to keep his train of thought chugging along, and instead he was vague, incoherent, and kept mentioning things off-hand only his base has heard about, making it easy to paint him as lying. Even when he got the softball question about banning Critical Race Theory he flubbed it by not mentioning some of the patently questionable horseshit that ideology pushed.

I couldn't conceive of a scenario where Biden won without fraud last week, but I sure as fuck can now. He needs to get it together for the next two debates. His base is already going to turn up for him.
Biden absolutely could win this election without fraud, the supreme court vacancy is a serious curve ball as I've said before. This debate isn't going to do anything good for Biden electorally though, and no amount of biased polling or fake news propaganda will make it good for him electorally either.
