I'll relay what I said in the debate thread that it was such a shitshow, noone really gained anything except one point.

Joe Biden on fracking and his Green New Deal pitch. Frackers know they have a target on their back and that tirade will likely not play well in PA.

Also, I have no idea how to interpret these results besides everyone being confused as fuck.

Also, while I was almost cheering when he called out critical race theory I feel there were better ways he could've identified it and condemned it.

In American politics you can't really speak the plain truth about CRT (that it's anti-white, or aims to create "equity" with racism against whites) without being read as a "white supremacist" and immediately sinking your own ship. So he uses language like "it teaches people to hate their country."

Fuck that cuck Wallace for trying to weasel word it into just 'sensitivity training.' Makes it sound like Drumpf just wants to let Federal employees yell the gamer word all day long.

Yes! While I'm glad he hammered home the anti-Americanism of CRT, even one concrete example of the noxious lessons taught in these trainings would've greatly bolstered his position. All he had to do was cite the Smithsonian claim that "hard work is whiteness," and he could've strengthened his point while making the left look absolutely deranged. We all know Trump isn't the best informed, but his team should be prepping him on policy and effective counter arguments; the more Trump focuses on tangible policy, the more glaring Biden's refusal to commit to consistent positions becomes.

I think this was the beginning of the end for Biden. I don't seem him hitting home runs in the next two debates. The soundclips Trump got out of him (the green new deal, cops are decent people, I am the democratic party, my son did nothing wrong, Antifa is an ideology, not an organization, not wanting to say what law enforcement groups support him) are going to bite him in the ass. Undecided voters are going to leave him since he won't explain his positions. The woke might abandon him because of his positions on Law & Order and flip flopping about the GND.

Trump did a good job of standing his ground in the debate IMO. I liked him pointing out Hunter Biden and Antifa violence, though I was disappointed that he didn't bring up Biden's "you ain't black" comment when the subject of Biden's tough on crime legislation came out. Crossing my fingers that he uses it in a future debate.

Super predators was a great shot, tho'.

The main debates won't do much. You've had 4 years of constant "Trump two scoops, Trump Russia, Trump Doo doo head" I'm doubtful whether some debate is going to change anyones minds considering the propaganda they've been subjected to over such a length of time.. Biden simply had to hold his own with Wallace backing up and he's fine. The medias convinced those on side that it's acceptable to have a impartial host helping a Presidential candidate now. The VP debate will be interesting one.

I haven't really kept watch on Pence, so how non-Trump is he? And how much will he trounce Harris?
