But a funny thing to come out if this topic is failed "games journalist" Hobbes, getting BTFO by the few remaining devs who still use Resetera.
As much as it's good to want studios to look after devs, some hard work is always going to be needed for AAA games. Resetera posters who've probably never had to work a hard day's work in their life acting like they can talk on behalf of actual games devs is always amusing.
CDPR Bosses in 2019: "No mandatory crunch." 2020: "Never mind, mandatory crunch."
If the project is being managed properly, why wouldn't a delay help avoid crunch? I don't get it. If one of my projects has a month extension, we don't work more, we don't create more work, we just spread out what needs doing over a longer period. Obviously I don't understand why game...
