Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You can view Joe Biden's megathread here, and Donald Trump's megathread here

When attempting to demonstrate superiority over an apponent, you don’t spend a quarter of the match arguing with the ref. That’s not a radical sentiment. That’s common sense. Which #45 needs more of if he wants to guarantee more time in the oval office.

There was a ref? Strange. All I saw were two Democrats debating one Republican.

There's another thing I don't see people talk about. I don't remember far-right/white supremacists pushing any policies, let alone Trump or his people accepting them - they don't have any foothold as far as legislation is concerned. Their numbers are insignificant and pretty much everyone despises them.
Far-left is a whole different story, however. Green New Deal was straight up communist, and was even voted on in the fucking Senate. The whole police defunding thing. And majority of the media is on their side.

Boggles my mind that some people can't see this.
It's the same kind of thinking where they seem to think it's 2001 and since Trump is a Republican, he must be an evil fundy who's gonna burn their Harry Potter books (lol irony), take away all rights from women, and start WWIII in the middle east to make Jesus come back.

Haven't listened to the debates yet, but from reading the comments here I'd say that Biden lost his biggest advantage in the debates - being an unknown in his debating skills due to his dementia and being in a relatively friendly ground in previous debates.
So while Trump can learn from this debate and be less aggressive, Biden is clearly shown to be too passive/dead.

Looks pretty suspicious to me. Plus the autism.tv chat clocked him touching his ear a couple of times.

In short: thing seen on his wrist is actually a microphone to send audio back to handlers who can then feed him info from the tiny inner ear piece.

The winners are the people that just want to laugh.

Biden is a blank canvas and just parrots whatever his handlers trained him on and whatever the party line is.

And Trump is literally mentally handicapped and thinks that "You are very bigly bad, and everyone loves me because everything has been the best ever, if you just look at the big beautiful numbers" is a valid point in a debate. It's a dementia patient and a retard being wrangled by a cuck.

Aint it great? The bigger the trash fire the entire process is the better.

The process gets better when people stop being a slave to the system where our only choices are a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich. Shame that COVID didn't do its job of killing all the boomers who keep the two-party paradigm alive.

That would require doing politics in a different way or a crisis which prompts a new way of thinking

There is some nuance here that everyone seems to be lacking. Obviously Trump is a sledgehammer that will bust down everything without thought of collateral damage. He said some stupid shit and should have known when to keep his mouth shut.

But you have to have noticed how Chris Wallace and Joe Biden gaslit him on several things as if they were fact: the "both sides" quote misconstrued for the 2,000th time, saying there was no mail voting fraud despite AMPLE evidence of it and Trump's VERY IMPORTANT distinction between absentee ballots and universal mail-in ballots, and him pushing back on Trump over petty climate change bullshit. What is Trump supposed to do in that situation? Accept it? Dems will take that as a win and Trump's base will see him as weak. With what he did, Dems still count is as a win but Trump's base is rallied by the gaslighting they also experience from the MSM. I will admit that most likely there is a 3rd way to stop the gaslighting without being a retarded New Yorker.

The MSM gives Trump absolute license to act like he did because they perceive EVERYTHING he does like that, so it makes no difference how he acts. The MSM has fostered this environment of distrust and retaliation.

It's simple really: in the left's spiritually diseased mindset, any white person who is straight, parenting children in a traditional nuclear family, and goes to church on Sundays....

...is a "far right/white supremacist."

People who fit this description have no place in the world order the left envisions. They want them dead and gone. Which is why they point and shriek at them, calling them "nazis", "white supremacists", etc. It's dehumanizing them in advance for their yearned-for slaughter.

I just saw some posts on the debate from people I know with hardcore TDS, like they literally break into impromptu monologues about how much they hate Trump. Their comments were along the lines of "fuck Trump, Trump is an asshole, I hate him so much" but they quickly segued into "Biden sucks, he's so lame, I can't vote for this guy." And one of them finished off with "I'd rather vote for a houseplant than either of these fucking guys."

Biden is so feeble he can't motivate someone with chronic aggravated TDS to vote for him.

That matches what I've seen since the debate. A number of people who were in the "nominally sane, but still pro-Biden, because Trump Is Evil Of Course, Please Like Me And Don't Cancel Me" camp were absolutely dejected after last night's debate.

where as if he actually talked policy he would have a chance to pull in more undecided voters, at least imo.

You can't pull in what doesn't exist.

Seriously. Find me an "undecided voter" at this point.

The best I can find is previously committed liberals who are now disgusted at Biden, of which I've already found a few since last night.
