Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Do any news networks still have any registered Republicans working for them? (outside of Tucker Carlson who they’d never let within 5 miles of Biden). I figured they’d have purged them long ago.

Cranky Joe took stances that distanced himself from Antifa (ITS AN IDEA!), BLM (Biden Supports more police not defunding), Pelosi/Shumer block (I am the Party!), and The Green Deal crowd (The Green deal sucks! Mine is better! I hate it till I like it!). He managed to piss off large swathes of his base by saying he doesn't support nor will not support their ideology and they better do what he says because He is the Democratic Party.

Biden's team is going on overdrive to either "clarify" or "reinterpret" what was said in the Debate. If that causes democrat voters to stay home that's a win for Trump.

Disavowing his radical elements of his party, which is a very vocal part of his base who get riled up at the drop of a hat are going to lambast Biden with every breath exhausting themselves on him not doing what they were told he would do. Remember these are the Cancel Culture Crowd of folks. Biden has gone against the grain, they will attack him now for it and in return do more harm over it because of their selfish nature of "DO WHAT I SAY!".

The base of the democratic party has shifted more and more left with the middle being leaning more to the republicans just on the fact that Americans want law and order, jobs, a future for their family, stability, and normalcy. Normies don't want riots in the streets, business' burning down, insane baboon screeching on TV like it's Planet Earth by leading officials, or other crazy rhetoric. People were hoping for that coming out of Biden but Trump got to Biden in the debates and he looked as unhinged as the belligerent bully that Trump was.

Biden tried to shove his....policy(?)/plan(?) to the America people but I still don't know what they were outside of IOWAVOTE.cOm!!!

Joe won in the sense that he couldn't get a word in edgeways because Donald was being Donald.

I know it's typical for a politician, but the thing I can't stand about Biden the most is his constant grinning and smiling - he does it at inappropriate times, he does it almost constantly, I think because it's supposed to convey good nature and relaxed confidence, something stupid like that. Many people are misunderstanding the purpose of the debate. It's not about policy- which Wallace argued, not Biden- it's about impressions, and I think Trump succeeded in having Biden walk back a few of the more extreme progressive policies of the DNC which added to the overall weak feeling of Joe's performance. He also found several Biden weak points that we'll see played up over the next few weeks leading up to the next debate.

They've gotta find a way to get rid of Joe's wire. he's clearly using prepared remarks as well which makes him seem like a doddering old fool.

Overall I don't think these debates did much for either candidate. The only thing I noticed that leans in Trumps favor is that he pushed Joe into walking his policy all over the place while Trump stood fast on his own policies.

I wonder if Biden thinks he's back in 1992 when Bill Clinton's "Sistah Souljah moment" was a key stepping stone to his election victory. Sistah Souljah was a rapper who released a song about killing white people, saying "two wrongs doesn't make a right but it damn sure makes it even." Clinton was asked if he supported that sentiment and was like "No, I don't support that!"

The difference is that now the Sistah Souljah ideology is mainstream among Democrats.

This is a guy who’s said things like “Poor kids are just as smart as the white kids” and “If you’re black and you don’t vote for Joe, you ain’t black.” He could kick Bernie Sanders in the balls and the progressive crowd would still give him a free pass. Joe Biden's twitter posted a post-debate smear video of Trump. It said he didn't go far enough to condemn white supremacy. Bad enough he bullshits his way into pretending Trump's a white supremacist, he lifts footage from Portland and Kenosha to call the anti-arson faction Nazis.
