Antifa journalist Mike Baker reports that Proud Boys member Alan Swinney has been arrested by Portland Police on a number of charges related to defending himself against antifa, "including assault, unlawful use of weapon, and menacing"

If these are legitimate charges, then good. One less bad egg shitting up right-wing groups' reputations. I know this is optimistic, but could you imagine if that was the universal right-wing sentiment to something like this? The left would expect us to cry and mourn our 'fallen comrade' the way they do, but instead we just celebrate one more criminal in jail. Would absolutely throw them for a loop.

Of course, if these are Kenosha Kid style trumped-up charges though, then I hope he beats them. I'll just have to wait for the next martyr to demonstrate how little of a fuck I give about allegiance when it comes to criminal assholes.

So I guess it's possible that he didn't get beat up while naming breakfast cereals, or perhaps he didn't quit porn. However.

Apparently much like Antifa, someone can just claim they're a proud boy and get the tattoo and show up at protests.

It's embarrassing how everyone is taking these faggots seriously now.

Except you can't. It's an organization. You can't just SAY you're a member and be one. There is a national organization and chapters and they don't recognize Swinney. Never have.
Edit: It may have started where anyone could just join, but you have to apply now, they make sure you're not Antifa or a Nazi and see if you glow.

Well I don't know what the brown """"""""white supremacist chairman"""""""" can do about the situation, since I guess they really have disavowed him.

Holy shit, what did I fukkin ask for just a half hour ago?! :story:
I'm not sure how you're gonna find this guys statement, he's shadowbanned from twitter and I don't know if he has a facebook. I sort of tuned the proud boys out once Gavin and Jack Cuckby were out of the picture.

On the off chance that sanity someday prevails, can certain reddit posters be tracked down and either re-educated or just diasappeared for the good of the rest of us?

Honestly I feel like 3/4 of reddit is either bots or sock puppets that are just there to make real people think that more people are thinking a certain way than there are. Any dissent to the approved global narrative gets deleted almost immediately too.

I do not like this 2020 circus. I want to go home.

Dudes, knock it off.

There's NO victory to fighting them on their home turf. Not even counter-protesting. What the fuck do you expect? It's like protesting Islam in Iran.

Let them burn down their fucking cities. They want Proud Boys and people there so they can arrest them. The deck is stacked. If the commies want to shit where they eat then let them.

I think that the majority people talking about US politics on Reddit aren't US citizens.

Reddit is Spooksville:
reddit air force base eglin.jpg
Reddit's greatest value is in shaping opinion. It is a mainstream information outlet, after all. There are not only thousands of US spooks on there all day, every day, there must be spooks from around the globe shitting up the place. Reddit must possess great value as a tool of psychological warfare. Imagine thousands of operatives from every nation in the western world working in tandem in the same manner they do with news media outlets, and working in cooperation with other social media outlets (note the lockstep, coordinated deplatformings and censorship that have become routine).

Then there's the reputation management firms, the brand management firms, all the corporate shenanigans to shill people towards/away from what product or service. So easily tens of thousands of shills on there at all times working to herd people in specific directions.

Then there's the garden variety psychos -- all the furries, the trannies, the 24/7 online lunatics. The undermods!

Its no wonder that outside of small, niche, or explicitly non-political subs that Reddit is all but unusable.

TL;DR Beta Soy Reddit/Twitter developers enable bots and scripted accounts because they're lazy/it suits their agenda

From a programming perspective, Reddit makes it incredibly easy to make automated accounts to post/upvote/downvote shit based on whatever criteria you choose (keywords in titles, user, etc), so it's really no surprise that reddit is so astroturfed, it's the developers at reddit that enable it. Same thing with Twitter. Compare them with LinkedIn, who make modest efforts at tackling bots/automated accounts. As you browse, you might not ever notice it, but if you started browsing in a way similar to web-crawler on there, you'd start getting hit by the robot check tests. It's not incredibly difficult to identify how a automated program browses/interacts with a site, so it's a choice in part by Reddit/Twitter to do nothing against it.

Why am I reminded of that scene from Gangs of New York where the local WASP's are shouting "Lincoln will make all White men slaves!" and displaying pro-Confederate propaganda signs like "Down With The Union!" and "Jefferson Davis is our brother!" as Union troops parade through the streets during a 4th of July celebration.

This whole campaign is like that made into an actual Democrat platform

"Biden Kamala will make all White men slaves!"

"Breonna Taylor is our sister!"

If it's still a local level trial, this could be a factor for the judge to dismiss the most serious of the charges before the trial itself since the jury pool would be so tainted.

Forget local; if the question was ever in doubt, that shit would guarantee it being sent to another state.

And the question was never in doubt.

Now, there's nothing they can do. Thanks Biden!

Now I do think Kyle will be found guilty of the misdemeanor weapons charge for sure, and the serious charges would all depend on the judge in question viewing the evidence and whether or not he dismisses those charges. If the case gets bumped to federal level, then Kyle's probably fucked and will be made an example of.

Absolutely the feds have told the state DAs to go fuck themselves; and the only way it'll move that high is on appeal (if the state courts are insane enough to deny them, if convicted).

Edit: when it comes down to it, the only charge Kyle is on the hook for is something the DOJ & Trump can easily dismiss or pardon, since it's right in their wheelhouse.
