Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You can view Joe Biden's megathread here, and Donald Trump's megathread here

Did he have the balls to call out Wallace for it, would be my question.
No talk of Wallace, started off with how personal attacks don't work against both Biden and Trump. And then gets into how Sleepy Joe may have conned a lot of people with his "presidential" demeanor into accepting dumb stuff.

Also addressed the white supremacy angle that was thrown out in the debate and how white supremacy is being used as a excuse for all the riots.

I think we can conclude that, while not a flawless victory, Trump still won in the long term.
I personally think a debate at this point is an act of futility because it will establish nothing that we didnt already know.
What concerns me the most is the frightening amount of fraud that this election is going to have with the mail in ballots. For me they shouldnt be a thing at fucking all but if they are, they should be made sure that there will be the least amount of frauds as possible...and there are already huge stories coming from the democrats.
Why wasnt that brought up in the debate? I would honestly love to see sleepy joe answer that.

The mainstream media has concluded that Democrat candidate Joe Biden shouldn’t participate in any more presidential debates with Donald Trump.
Anchors from CNN, ABC, CBS, and MSNBC were all in disbelief over how badly the debate went for Biden.
“That was a hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck,” CNN anchor Jake Tapper said.
“That was a shit show,” added contributor Dana Bash.

ABC’s George Stephanopoulos called it the “worst presidential debate” he’s ever seen.

Tapper even launched into a diatribe about how a 6th grade girl burst into tears and fled during the debate.

Pretty soon the media and Hollywood concluded that Biden shouldn’t participate in another presidential debate with Trump.

Democrat operatives and reporters from The Washington Post, The New York Times, Bloomberg News all parroted that talking point on Twitter.

The next presidential debate is scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida on October 15, at 9:00 PM EST.

President Trump catches Joe Biden in two lies about Hunter Biden and Ukraine.

A new kind of avant-garde journalism!

Lol that's not true at all. The DNC already agreed to the second debate. Infowars is a terrible source, even by A&N standards. You might as well link to Weekly World News

The source of any information has no bearing on it's accuracy.
If the information is accurate it's accurate.
And given that it's fucking QUOTING these people...
The point these people are trying to make is that in their opinion the debate went poorly because Trump behaved like a lolcow that made a Fox News anchor lose his patience. But still a few opinions of some left-wing talking heads are not the indicators of how CNN and the DNC will go in the future. Like all fringe media, InfoWars is just scraping the barrels to get a few cheap reactionary clicks from their narrow target audience range.

So basically it didn't shake out the way they wanted because they vastly overestimated the level of control they had over Trump on a debate stage, and now they're gonna take their ball and go home.

Yep. It's like using Huffington Post quoting some insane right-wingers on Twitter as their article. I'd even say it's worse because the DNC already accepted the second debate (as did the RNC) and water isn't making frogs gay

Irrelevant to the fact the source of information has no bearing on it's veracity.

Ignoring all the direct politics, does anyone else notice the debate seems to have made a lot of people more on edge?
People seem to be ripping into each other way more violently since last night, I have seen a few outright mental breakdowns, people just generally seem more MOTI, and basicly shit seems slightly more fucked now than yesterday from where I am looking.

A bit, yeah. It's pretty funny sometimes.

I don't know what's normal anymore, this site has fucked me up so much that when I like something on twitter I think "feels".

The debate was an eye opener for a lot of people on both sides. It signalled to the true believers that the manufactured politesse that used to frame our politics is a thing of the past, and both sides now see politics as an openly partisan pissing contest with no time for ethics or etiquette - only winning matters. This was already the position of about a third of the nation, but the debate increased that share to two thirds.

No, but I am interested in how things can seem even more fucked than previously, in your POV.
It's... how should I put it?
Well it is different making a prediction that something horrific might happen and actually seeing things IRL take continious steps towards that prediction.

Does that make any sense?
