It was such a bizarre thing to get upset about. IMO Josh actually sounded friendly to Ralph. It sounded like ball-breaking, ribbing, or something like that. Certainly nothing to self-immolate over.

In retrospect, I think the reaction to the corn joke was a combination of these things:

1) I have genuinely tried to help Ralph in the past and have even hosted a forum for him free of charge because I wanted to support his show at the time.
2) In his mind, he is the biggest reason I get 1200~1400 viewers when I livestream, and he feels that he is owed a tithe of loyalty for it.
3) He didn't want to make me an 'enemy' because of this thread, but at the same time
4) He already felt betrayed by how I talk about him on the forum and was looking for a reason to go apeshit.

So the joke was the Internet retard parallel to the shooting of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and suddenly Ralph had casus belli on the entire Internet.
