No, those cysts are normal. Basically it releases the hormones to help the pregnancy and sometimes they fill with fluid and eventually burst, but most pregnant women get them.

For the first ultrasound, didn't Ralph say 3 weeks. This new dating of 5 weeks 6 days actually puts that first ultrasound at about 4 to 4.5 weeks, not 3.

Ultrasounds aren't accurate until further into the pregnancy. Right now, they are looking at beans and circles, at the 12 week mark they will have measurement markers of how old the baby is and it will be a lot more accurate.
