Swedish TV personality Adam Alsing died from COVID in april, he was 51 and healthy. But other than that and the guy from Fountains of Wayne I can't think of any celebrity who has died of it.

British comedians Eddie Large and the great Tim Brooke-Taylor died from it. Granted, Large was 78 and got it from the hospital he was already in for a heart condition, and Brooke-Taylor was 79, but Tim wasn’t even in particularly ill health so it was a direct cause of death.

Waiting for doctor's update, supposed to have begun 20 minutes ago. The fucking White House and the administration could gain some good will among reporters and show some respect for the people if they held their press events when they say they are going to hold them. As it is, we have all this year spent at least 100 hours with whatever we're watching on half the screen and an empty room with a lectern on the other half. If they can't figure out when they'll have someone appear and say something, which is easy, how the fuck do they expect us to think they will get the hard stuff right? He never downplayed the infectiousness of the virus, so no there isn’t actually any karma or irony. It would be ironic if he died or has serious complications.

- No oxygen Thursday through today. "Thursday no oxygen. None at this moment. And yesterday with the team, while we were all here, he was not on oxygen." They were being oddly squirelly about this, suggesting that he did in fact get oxygen some time on Friday, which doesn't line up with our timeline for his diagnosis. Strange.
- Asked about whether he is on steroids, the doctor would not answer. This is slightly worrying.
- He had LGF when admitted, fever-free now.
- SpO2 of 96 (good.) Blood pressure and resting pulse better than mine.
- No immediate discharge plans, want to monitor for inflammatory stage.
- On remdesivir for next 5 days per protocol. No d/c before that.
