You know what's sad? I actually like his impression of Biden. The problem is they aren't telling jokes with it. Its just more campaigning for the Democrats...that's it.

If this was old SNL, this election cycle would yield a non-stop cavalcade of insane skits. I actually remember the 2000 election season fondly because SNL hit it out of the park with their skits back then. Heck, the fact that we had a disputed election only made it better because SNL was just delivering gem after gem after gem.

This though...they are just a propaganda tool.
At some point during Obama's admin, it was decided that all major media had to be a recruting tool for the DNC.

And they've fallen into the same trap as Christian media usually dose: they focus so much on the message first and formost that entertainment falls to the wayside. And that's why its countercultural to be Conversative now of days.

I don't know if anyone remembers real life papa smurf but this is what colloidal silver does to you.

So Trump can annouce he's the first blue person elected to the white house now? Another notch on the bedpost of the RNC.

For the people complaining about the grave dancing in this thread and RBG's thread, let me remind everyone here that Chester from Linkin Park died to uproarious laughter here on the Farms. I was against it since he hadn't done anything wrong in his life and it was just generally dickish, and the response I got was "Dude, chill, we're just coping with the loss" and "Bruh, haven't you ever heard of sardonic laughter?"

Hell, we just got done making fun of 9/11 for millionth time a few weeks ago, and now we're talking about how tasteless gravedancing really is. What hypocrites we all are.

We're just coping with RGB and Trump potentially dying, fam. lmao 🤣.

100% Truth

Its funny you bring up Conservatism because the tone of a lot of this left leaning or woke media very much feels similar to Christian entertainment that I was exposed to in the 90s.

It sucked then and it sucks now. This is even worse though because the Christian media was kind of something you'd have to go out of your way to find. This new shit is everywhere! Its at the point where most of my options involved just watching shit from last century just to get away from it.

Bush was worse but you've got that backwards. Bush burned down the house, Obama the forest. The rest of the Middle East was keeping the lid on with its secular strongman routine until Obama decided getting behind toppling anti-jihadi secular fascists was a great idea in 2011. Bush wanted none of that shit after fucking up thinking it was a good idea in Iraq. Nothing of consequence happened in Iraq after Bush left office until Obama decided to leave. Let's not mention how Obama sucking Iran's dick gave them the financial wherewithal to resuscitate Shiite jihadism to heights not even seen in the 80s. You're talking about a triple shitburger you had to eat 5 days a week vs a double shitburger you had to eat 6 days a week like the double shitburger routine was sooooooooooo much better. It's 15 shit patties down your craw a week vs 12.
Obama's mistake was a naive commitment to democracy and failure to consider that people might vote in thugs not aligned to US policy. All of those protests and revolutions in the Middle East had a genuine popular element to them, it only became Color Revolution-style regime change later. Odds are there still would've been civil wars, insurgencies, and more recruitment for al-Qaeda.

And again, how was any of this as bad for American interests as spending trillions of dollars and sending thousands of Americans to their death in the sandbox. Name some numbers, give me some figures. Had the troops in Iraq not been reduced, we'd still be spending a fortune and the death toll would still be increasing and Iraq would still be a shithole.
It's a straight line from Libya to ISIS. Yes, the occupation of Iraq has been handled poorly, but to minimize Obama's own responsibility for how things went during his tenure is just as foolish. The failure of Libya directly led to the Arab Spring, which in turn led to ISIS becoming as powerful as they were by allowing them to smuggle their weapons from Africa into Arabia.

The troop draw down/allied withdrawal coupled with Obama kissing ass to Iran and allowing them to gain influence over Baghdad is what allowed the Caliphate to be formed in Iraq before spilling across the border into Syria.

And no, chemical weapons weren't and aren't a hoax. The stockpiles, production factories, and mobile bio-weapon stations prove this. The intelligence community certainly failed in gathering information, and Bush was wrong for omitting information when petitioning the UN, but to say that Iraq had "no WMDs" is patently false and plainly ignorant. Newer shells and production equipment was moved into Syria thanks to the media making such a big deal of Iraq before the invasion actually happened. Those same weapons are what Assad ordered used against demonstrators which triggered the Syrian civil war.
I see you have absolutely no clue about the timeline of events we're discussing. No, the Libyan Civil War didn't start Arab Spring because Arab Spring started the Libyan Civil War. No, the Syrian Civil War was already well underway before Assad (allegedly) used chemical weapons. And as I said, ISIS started because Bush fucked over the Sunnis in Iraq by denying them jobs and making them pariahs because they were Baath Party members as well as disbanding the Iraqi Army which was full of Sunni combat veterans and good soldiers who went back to their clans and promptly joined insurgencies like the one led by one of Saddam's former generals which ended up working alongside ISIS when ISIS came to power out of mutual hatred for the western-backed government.

Now Iran gained power in Iraq because the same occupation I was talking about which caused massive sectarianism since Bush's goons absolutely fucked over the Sunnis leading to the Iraqi puppet government to be mostly Shia meaning they obviously would need support from Iran unless the US decided to keep lots of guys in the sandbox. Therefore the entire thing can be traced right back to Bush since the options were "waste more money and lives in an occupation without end" or "keep it to drone strikes".

Oh, and the alleged chemical weapons in Syria were almost certainly a false flag and didn't start the Syrian Civil War because that was well underway. Which would still be Obama's fault but nothing came of it aside from more drone strikes.

Keep suckin' that dick.

Was genuinely moved when I heard the President of the United States of America was sick with Covid.

From everything I've gathered, this is a bioweapon engineered by the Chinese. Assassination is assassination even when it's indirect. Didn't feel right staying home.

Drove to DC, got into town around 3. Walter Reed is in Bethesda, just outside the city. The campus is closed to the public, was able to find garage parking about a quarter mile away.

When I arrived, there was a small rally outside the gates. Maybe half the people were carrying Trump flags and being overtly political, the rest were just Americans holding vigil for their President. Over time, the number grew to about 100. Occasionally, someone would drive by shouting and giving everyone the finger, but there were more people hitting the horn as they passed.

We were talking about holding a candlelight vigil until around 7, when the police cleared the scene. Someone said there was a bomb, the area was being cleared so I left to get dinner. Restaurant was mostly empty, tables are 6 feet apart and everyone was wearing masks when they walked around. I heard a couple laughing about Trump, mostly the lady talking about how he deserves this and what a clown he is. Looked at the news, all the talk was about how sick he actually is. Nothing about a bomb.

Feels like we've lost something. President of the United States of America is an office that deserves respect no matter who holds it. I know Trump is a polarizing figure, but some things are bigger than the person.

As Hank Hill famously said "You're not making Christianity better! You're just making rock music worse!"

The best examples of media that conveys a specific ideology are the ones that are entertaining and can stand on their own without the message.

There's a reason why people are genuinely nostalgic for VeggieTales and Narnia while Bibleman is looked back only as a campy meme.

You shut the fuck up! Bibleman is the greatest media franchise of all time!

Not you too, Jim Carry. Goddamn it.
You missed his crazy Trump paintings? Dude has made over 60 of them and they're all terrible and insane. Here are 5 of them. Yes, that is a 2 scoops reference.

Eh. I thought it was pretty bada myself. Didn't sound like Biden at all.

Why a candlelight vigil? Aren't those only done for dead people?
