A huge number of ISIS's Iraqi members came from clans discriminated against by the American occupation because of their loyalty to Saddam and some of these clans also lived in Syria. The occupation of Iraq was so poorly managed (like appointing people to crucial positions based on how much they donated to the Republican Party, disbanding the Iraqi military, banning every Baath Party member from public life, all sorts of shit like that) that it was inevitable it would go to shit the minute enough Americans left.

Saying Obama is equal to Bush in terms of bad foreign policy and wars is lunacy since so many problems in the 21st century Middle East was caused by GW Bush. It's like saying an arsonist who burns a house left standing by a wildfire is as bad as the arsonist who started the wildfire. It shouldn't even be a partisan debate, only the most diehard neocon or Obama Derangement Syndrome sufferer would think otherwise, but I guess you do believe in the WMD hoax which is one of the great fabrications in history.

It's a straight line from Libya to ISIS. Yes, the occupation of Iraq has been handled poorly, but to minimize Obama's own responsibility for how things went during his tenure is just as foolish. The failure of Libya directly led to the Arab Spring, which in turn led to ISIS becoming as powerful as they were by allowing them to smuggle their weapons from Africa into Arabia.

The troop draw down/allied withdrawal coupled with Obama kissing ass to Iran and allowing them to gain influence over Baghdad is what allowed the Caliphate to be formed in Iraq before spilling across the border into Syria.

And no, chemical weapons weren't and aren't a hoax. The stockpiles, production factories, and mobile bio-weapon stations prove this. The intelligence community certainly failed in gathering information, and Bush was wrong for omitting information when petitioning the UN, but to say that Iraq had "no WMDs" is patently false and plainly ignorant. Newer shells and production equipment was moved into Syria thanks to the media making such a big deal of Iraq before the invasion actually happened. Those same weapons are what Assad ordered used against demonstrators which triggered the Syrian civil war.

The only "lie" the Bush administration was guilty of was saying that Iraq was on their way to developing nuclear weapons. The big problem was that Jr. was trying to stop the misuse of military equipment supplied to Iraq by NATO while not tarnishing his father's image rather than just admit that US developed weapons built with European equipment in Iraqi facilities was going to be used against Israel.

So sorry BDS, but nigger Jesus is just as bad as his predecessor. And that without considering his expansion of drone strikes, implementation of secondary strikes to kill first responders, expansion of domestic surveillance, and politicization and defanging of the FBI.

My connections in life and social media trend very liberal politically. As a result, I see a lot of people complaining that the White House is hiding the possible severity of the symptoms and that it was selfish of Trump to wait to go to the hospital until after the stock market closed on Friday. I've come here to bitch about it because I really don't want to get in some ratking argument thread on social media.

I understand that he exposed many people in the many events preceding his admittance to Walter Reed, which I agree was extremely reckless. Completely in line with the actions of an idiot boomer with delusions of invincibility, which Trump has without fail proven himself to be. However, I think it's an incredibly stupid take to think Trump is remarkable in wanting to continue the "USA STRONG" narrative while trying to prevent further damage to an already volatile stock market. Of course he waited after his test result until it was unavoidable and of course he doesn't want the public to know if he's going to keel over if there's still any hope of recovery. I don't even think it's that much of a partisan thing and I loathe the fact that it's become one- I can't imagine the majority of US presidents battling severe illness much differently.
