Has Trump released a video today? Be interesting to see his condition in light of his medical team admitting to having downplayed the seriousness of his condition yesterday. I'm surprised they held up the possibility of him being back in the White House tomorrow - if he misses that target (that nobody would have expected him to have done) it'll be seen as a bad sign.

The doctor said as early as tomorrow, not that he would be back at the White House tomorrow for sure. I'd give it three days before we start worrying.

A few other smaller examples aside, it's the first time in a while that the DNC has decided to change plans and try not to feed into the worst parts of their voter base, first with Biden half heartedly denouncing the riots in between kissing his granddaughter and rambling about his hairy legs and now with a decent amount of big media names wishing Trump a speedy recovery (regardless if they are being honest or not) including people like Rachael Maddow which got me pretty surprised when I first saw it, and the result? twitter fucking hates them for doing it

There was one debate were four debates.It was in black and white, and it was awful. They went on about Matsu and Quemoy and how we would defend them. The United States presidential election boiling down to a popularity contest between two old, rich, perverted, senile men in poor health on the brink of possible death is a real wakeup call for the sad state of American politics.

They chose biden because he's the most milquetoast, empty suit politician that they can find. A progressive or radical candidate wouldn't be able to siphon the 50+ vote from trump, something that's important because of low millennial turnout.

From what I've heard from democrats I know, they don't really care about biden. They either:

A- Accept that he's a uninspired junk candidate and that it's mainly a vote against trump

B- Know that he's frail and declining and consider their vote to be for Harris.

The amount of actual biden supporters is probably very low.

My guess is his doctors will monitor him in more or less the same way as in the hospital, the specifics on quarantining really depends on the layout of the White House, he needs a room to live in, a room to work in, and something that works for campaigning.

The Regeneron treatment would have severely stunted his infection, it could be 10% to a maximum of 50% of what it used to be from that alone, the effect lasts at least 7 days before dropping off, he should be mostly covered until he naturally develops antibodies in the second week and the virus dies out.

He's on a five day course of Remdesivir, so he'll keep taking that, they'll keep checking his liver for inflammation, and his infection will be even weaker from it.

They also need to monitor for post-infection inflammation and clots; they put him on dexamethtasone for the former already, but I'm guessing they won't put him on anticoagulants unless he actually needs them.
