I don't know much about Twitch culture. Are any of Phil's unique channel emotes often used outside of his streams, on other streamers' chats?

I've seen them used ironically in other chats, and other viewers call it out as being dsp shit... No screencaps because it's hardly a noteworthy event, but they happen from time to time.

Phil is a niche meme and any use of his dogshit emotes are just that: memes.

They could be, but I think the kind of person who has those unique emotes would only use them in places someone would know them...and then promptly get banned for it, like WingsofRedemption. Remember, Phil has long since fallen into obscurity, no one would really care if you posted a DSP emote outside of maybe "What's with that poorly-drawn face giving a thumbs-up?"

Well yes and no. DjRuno did ask for a refund and emailed PayPal in German explaining that he gave Phil money specifically for the goose game and Phil said he was going to use it for bills instead. Then an impostor DJRuno sent Phil an email telling him he was leaving forever and never giving Phil any more money.

That makes sense, I guess if the emote use is limited to his handful of active subscribers, then that really reduces the chance that they would be seen outside his chat

I see them a lot whenever Bawkbasoup is streaming. Bawk is a very good Resident Evil speedrunner and often plays on the highest difficulty, so when he dies you might see people use Phil's emotes but as far as I'm aware, they've never used to attack him

EDIT: He is very chill. He was streaming Resident Evil Zero a few months back when someone asked him if ever watched the TIHYDP of RE Zero and he replied "Isn't that the guy who is famous for sucking at games?" The minute that question was asked though, Phil's emotes were being spammed in his chat

Clipped this from today's Snort Burnell video. Zero self-awareness DSP is probably my favorite DSP, like back when he said "only a loser works a 9 to 5" this is one of those moments where he's shitting on his own viewers seemingly without realizing it (or until it's too late).

If you show up and troll him on his low attendance unpopular streams, you're a no life loser. I mean, who the hell other than someone with no friends, family or life would show up and watch DSP play Fire Emblem right!? Duu huu hua.

I saw on reddit that he had a boomer segment during his late stream that lasted an hour, because he only got like $30 in tips, and ended up with $45 in tips.

If that's true I imagine he'll be hitting his best friend Gin harder than usual tonight.

Question to the older detractors: has there ever been an instance of Phil's paypigs putting their hooves down because Phil isn't giving them what they want? Or have they always been such pussy ass bitches that no matter how much he steps on them, they just keep feeding him their money?

I think there was one instance when he put put a Vlog that went like "My Business is fucked I Need more Money!" Soma Julius Cruz has a Clip where Phil said literally "I Need you to support everything allright?" On one of those Videos he had comments active and he got quite the Backlash. The following Vlogs for the same topic had comments disabled.

Tuned into the late pre-stream for 10 minutes and my favorite thing I heard is you can nominate a vest to wear at the goal, but you cannot choose the platinum vest because he wore it earlier. Keep in mind, he wore it for what the chat was saying, around 10-15 seconds.

He must really not like the platinum vest. Still such another arbitrary rule. He clearly makes shit up as he goes for some controlling power trip. Reminds me that viewers choice poll is now nominations and the Project 7 thing was just for the trailer.

And the example @Comma brought up recently, with CB4's Retro Mode definitely not called Retro but "Classic". Arguing with Phil is pointless because he will rewrite history and the laws of the universe so he will come out looking Cool and Right and if you say otherwise he'll ban you and somehow use that as further proof of how wrong and lame and dumb you are. It's also why everything claimed by anyone outside his chat is a bewildering-yet-simultaneously-patently-untrue meme, because he can't discredit them any other way.

I'd say that Phil desperately needs his own Minister of Propaganda except he's also paranoid and stupid and wouldn't accept the help if it were offered to him.

It's nothing but flabbergasting that not even once during his 12-year beggacy Phil has made a successful joke. Out of the hundreds of attempts at humour not one joke has landed. How is that even statistically possible? How is it possible for one man to lack this much charisma? Granted, DSP has made me laugh, but only on occasions his lolcow qualities are on full display; Not at his intentional jokes. If you have laughed at a joke DSP has made, please share it. I'd love to hear it.

Now that I have a name for it, this is another 'Phil is a complete cultural retard' observations.

At the start of playing 'The Quiet Man' Phil is bewildered by the sight of the main character wearing a leather jacket over a hooded sweatshirt and acts like he has never seen such a thing in his 38 years.
He remarks, "Seriously though, why would you ever do that? Wear two LESSER jackets or coats? Wouldn't you just BUY a thicker hoodie?"
Phil Burnell grew up and lived his first 32 years in Connecticut winters and the concept of wearing layers baffles him.
I think it's safe to say almost the entirety of the time that Phil has spent outside in his life was just however long it took to waddle between a car and a building.
