I don't understand why June claims she's being canceled here. Canceled by who? We aren't your fans, June. We aren't supporting you, and we aren't going to suddenly stop watching your videos or withdraw our Patreon support from you. On Twitter, she's just got waves of support from her fans on these posts. No one's mind is going to be changed on June by this leak.
That said, I would love the chance to actually speak to her one on one about the JWHC shit. June is the type of person who doesn't really think about her own positions, she just says what she hears other people say. She is the type of person who gets inspired by others, which is not a bad thing, but it means you're a follower and not a leader. The thing that the trash media never bothers to ask any of these candidates, and the thing that no right-wing person ever calls them out on for some reason, is: if you want health care so fucking bad, June, what are you willing to cut for it?
Raising taxes to pay for health care is not going to happen. That will meet massive resistance from the American people, and if that's all you do, you're going to be disappointed and bemoan how progressives always get shut down by unfair treatment or whatever. But that's not the only way to pay for health care. People would be much more likely to support a program if it genuinely didn't cost them anything, so if you shift some taxes that are already being used to pay for other things to health care, you might actually get what you want.
So what will it be, June? Want to cut education spending? How about welfare? Foreign aid? Infrastructure? Parks services? Defense? Justice? Commerce? Treasury? Let's talk, June. If health care is so damned important then the best way to make it happen is to cut spending on something else to get it through. But no actual leftist politician would ever even consider asking the question "huh, I wonder if the stuff we're already spending money on, if we could stop spending money on it now?"
