You mentioned several times that you have other family in state, presumably some of them would be willing to house you if you help them out with your free, no-strings attached $4800 a year. They would probably do it for free if you had, at any point in your life, done any kind of bonding with them (or even now if you just want to spend a week or so visiting them). Save some of that free money you don't deserve and you could get a trailer and stay on any of your blood's lawn without bothering them too much. And that is if you where legitimate about not being able to work during the pandemic and have to work with only what you have. Actually considering that, any family that you have with young children might actually be grateful if you housed with them as a baby sitter so the parents could get to work during the pandemic (assuming you where close enough with them that such a thing wouldn't be weird).

Point is, you are over 30 and have options to move out of your parent's house. You have a not-insignificant amount of money and enough of a support network that it is a possibility. People without either are very common, it wouldn't be surprising if many of the Evil Kiwi Farms members have faced significantly worse housing issues than you are whining about.

Ironically complaining about a guy complaining about how his wife's terrible affliction is ruining the peaceful life that he and his wife worked their entire lives for.

Not to get too into it but in fact I know someone who very likely had Covid early in the year and experienced severe diarrhea but not the severe lung issues that go with it until later on when they got worse. It was before everyone was in pandemic mode and knew what was going on.
