He needs that money to survive this week until he gets at least $5000 (likely over $6000) next week

Remember he got this money when he says he might not be able to afford a PS5 in a few weeks
he also said the money is already put aside for one. I personally hope Amazon cancels his preorder because of the shady way he placed it. cant wait for the rant if it happens, even if it will just lead to some cuck donating their ps5 to him but then we'd get a rant on how it arrived 3 days post launch and no one will care about it by then.

Uhh... no! This money pays more than any job Phil has ever had or could probably get.

But also, it doesn't pay enough to cover basic bills and groceries, so please tip!

Is this because he is living outside of his means? No! Phil is perfect, it's because detractors keep messing with his money and he is a victim, please tip!

So the trolls are winning and Phil is broke and should quit streaming? No! The trolls are mentally ill failures and Phil is successful... and this pays more than any job he has ever had or could get!

Repeat ad nauseam.

This is actually where we've got to. Phil has built a narrative where his life, job and finances are a complete contradiction. I think this is the new frustration. Previously this cycle had gaps of uncertainty, or events and sagas would put us in different places over the course of months. We lacked critical information, and it meant any part could be truth or a lie.

Now Phil is so frenetic that we'll do the whole cycle twice in one prestream. He'll openly contradict himself within 10 minutes and just keep going with the cycle when called out. Meanwhile we know enough between the bankruptcy and tracking his income that we now see the only true part is that he makes a ton of money. If he wasn't scamming before, he is now, because he cannot be all of these things simultaneously. There is no 'maybe something we don't know about is happening'. No. He's lying, and not only is nobody stopping him, they're rewarding him.

The saddest part is that this is ripping through half of Twitch's money-related ToS, more than he ever has before. But you wouldn't know that he is feigning distress unless you listened to a few prestreams and kept track of the income. He is, again, getting away with a massive scam because nobody with any authority cares enough to do anything, even though it is so painfully obvious.

2020 has been a big year for our boy. It's the year he finally just dropped all the pretenses and started scamming in the open while smirking at us behind a pair of smudged gunners, a shiny vest, and an ear wick.
I can't wait for the inevitable New Year's Eve stream where he gives a big speech about how wonderful 2020 was, how successful he is and how his fans love him and his content. And during the full spiel we're all supposed to sit there and forget about how he can barely afford to put food on the table and keep the heat on. Also it's too hot for him to put on the Platinum Vest, stop asking for it.

He's definitely at that point. I don't think he even cares if people believes his bullshit or if anyone can put two and two together listening to him. Because really all you can do is...
things are just too big, or too far gone, or just out of your hands, and the best thing to do is walk away.
...say fuck it. Whatever dude.

He is not even trying to cover much anymore. He straight up doesn't give a shit now and just says "give me money". Ask and you get "to pay for stuff". And he still gets rewarded.

To add to that, one thing that shows how dumb Phil thinks his audience is is the following:

Before 2020, Phil has gone through some months in which he made far less money than what he has made in the past few months. This was also during a time during which he had not yet declared bankruptcy, and therefore he probably had more payments to be made.

So this guy has the nerve to pretend that, even though he is making more money and has less debts, he magically still isn't able to live without hitting his tips goal daily. Only a retard would fall for that.

Frankly, I hope Phil really is that much of an incompetent fuck when it comes to money. I hope that he has really spent all of his vest streak money already. Because then that guarantees that he's not saving any money, which guarantees an eventual divorce arc, and also makes sure that he'll be streaming until he dies.

Remember, the guy who can barely afford groceries is the same guy who said he was throwing away his bagles every week because he was too dumb to keep them in the refrigerator and they would go stale.

Edit: almost forgot he also made a video where he bought a pound of ground beef and only needed a half pound so he threw half of it straight into the trash.

Phil is truly the only person I can think of who could not only do such a terrible job at lying about being poor, yet also makes it believable that he'd flush all the money he has down the toilet in a week.

That was his taco video and to be fair, he threw out about a quarter of the package, which is still fucking insane.

Following up on my comment about free food around the Snortfort:

That's pretty damn good. I could go all month without using foodstamps with all those places available. Plus I'd probably see a fight or two which is always a bonus.

Do they have miserable old slavic fucks around there? When they throw down it's pretty epic..I highly recommend seeing a old polock fight once in your life.

The current ear infection arc has birthed some of my favorite DSP nonsense phrases. "Closed-cup environment" and "Airation style" are forever stuck in my brain. This dood should have pursued a career in infomercials (he'd even be able to perform his own stunts for those black and white "don't do this!" moments!)

That was painful to read.

He would be great at infomercials. Just look at how he shilled the absolute garbage 1upBox company.

Every month he paid like $20 for $3 worth of stuff you could only find in a Chinese dollar store and a knock off tee-shirt.

And the whole time he ranted and raved about how cool everything was and it's totally worth the money. Yes, Phil, every kid wants a Super Plumber Bros. USB cable and a Nocturnal Flying Rodent Man tee shirt.

Some dude on Twitter jokingly compared DSP and his fanbase to the Gondawara Family from Yakuza 2/Kiwami 2. :story: :story:

Oh don't worry, he really is just that incompetent with money. He actually said on stream recently that he has "no savings" and given his history of racking up $140K in credit card debt, putting his income taxes on a payment plan, and drained his 401K when moving to WA, that is probably one thing he has admitted to that is true.

Phil has to stream 6 days a week because he can't budget past the next day. He even uses Monday's tips to pay for Tuesday's groceries. Other than WWE Champions its hard to say what Phil blows his money on, but he most certainly spends it within 24 hours of receiving it. This is why the chargebacks hit so hard, he has long spent that money by the time it the chargeback comes through.
