yeah she kind of pivoted to the "mom yells at me" subplot.
Most of these plots are being resolved the same way anyway, Lily and Gardevoir talk about, Lily assures Gardevoir everything's cool, new plot development a month later.

Side note, if Lily and Mikail actually put effort into this and used their patreons for behind the scenes and audience poll stuff, they could actually make money and do something interesting. No such luck though,

Mikala really needs to start doing anatomy studies. Every time one of these comic strips is put out they get progressively worse. Lilys drawn with a cat/lizard nose, her head is like 2x the size of her body, the hands are disturbingly small, lilys arm looks disconnected in the second panel, etc. I would have more complaints about bonnie but its hard to critique a character who within their own story is constantly called a cryptid/abomination. Im also aware she's using a limited color palette but i dont think mikalas actually ever done a true grayscale piece because everything is a pretty similar tone and incredibly flat. I believe Mikalas art is trying to copy the MLP human style? which is flawed in so many ways and if that's her jumping off point, yikes.

Also bonnies dialogue has always bugged the shit out of me. Lily has clearly never interacted with an actual child (thank god) because most of them dont talk like that and they do their very best to appear "adult" especially when talking to grown-ups/parents. But bonnies out here slurring her words like shes had 5 drinks in the past hour. I know bonnie not being completely human/being an abomination is an easy out for lily to just write whatever she wants, but im still going to call it out. Her obsession with children characters to me is very weird and she writes bonnie as if shes like actually her daughter but then bonnie only shows up to be quirky and random. If bonnie were a real child she would probably have huge meltdowns and it would be on lily to calm her down but lily wouldnt yell at her, wouldnt get upset, wouldnt get frustrated, and would basically be a mother mary knowing her writing.
