They'll be back, but he needs to at least invest some effort into a narrative. Needing $100/stream to make it to his massive payday when he only leaves the house once a week for groceries is just nonsense, and his new verification requirement means that there are no immediate chargebacks to worry about. The whales need to feel like heroes.
His current narrative is also that cumbersome 'I need money for groceries' kind of begging that gets really awkward when he doesn't hit the goal and isn't crying or dead come the end of the week. He just tries to pretend he never said anything about it the following week, so why would the paypigs care either way.
He still hasn't been able to transition out of the streak-speak though. "I have 7 minutes left, guys, just a heads up." For what? There's no point in hitting the goal for him to wear the vest for 5 minutes, and he apparently still hasn't processed that nobody tipped at the last minute just to see the goal hit - they tipped to keep the streak going. He needs to find a new begging pattern to get the money earlier, or figure out an incentive that doesn't lose all appeal with only a few minutes left on the stream if he wants to bait some last minute pushes.
I'm leery about keeping track, just because some whales might start throwing him $100 just so we can't get a count going...
