I am nostalgic for the 2016 election. Seems so quaint compared to now.
Honestly the most nostalgic I felt for the 2016 election was the Republican Primaries, that shit was really hilarious since it felt like an actual show with character development, twists and betrayals all around. The general election honestly did not hold a candle to the insanity of the Republican 2016 primaries.

Meltdown. Yeah, we all believe the polls. Trump and his base is currently writing their concession letter / suicide notes right now because this Twitter nobody has a poll.

I know exactly what this guy's bullshit poll will say. He has been beating the drum that Trump has "collapsed with seniors" all week. His evidence was a Biden golfcart rally in The Villages in Sumter, FL.

So let's look at the Villages today, where Pence had a rally.

And fuck it, let's throw in a 30000 car Hispanic Trump parade in Miami for good measure.

I'm really scared bros. I haven't shaken this much since earlier today when the Krassensteins said they had the nigger tape.
In a lot of ways, they've kind of completely screwed themselves because one side of the aisle could not give a shit less what the polls have to say, and the other side is dumb enough to believe them, so they're going to wind up suppressing their own voter turn-out. The harder they push the Biden +500 shit, the more pissed off that Trump's voting base becomes and the harder they want to get out there and vote to prove them wrong, and yet the deeper they go into oversampling the Democrats, the more it's going to encourage Democrats to just stay home.

On the other hand, if they tried to push it the other way, Trump's voting base wouldn't care what the polls had to say, so even if they plugged their noses, shut their eyes, and hit 'publish' on a story where Trump's +50 across the country, Trump's base would go out anyways because they don't give a shit about polls and his enthusiasm is through the roof, and the Democrats believe them so they'd wind up with a discouraged turnout. Again.

They've hyper-weaponized polling to such an extent that it's completely broken its usefulness. Trump +20, Biden +60, Jeb! +1,000,000, I literally no longer give a shit what any poll has to say and I reference them for absolutely nothing anymore. There's too much bias in the pollsters and too many groups that they never take into account and can't take into account, so all the polls in the world mean absolutely nothing.

Even if you eat all the glue in the factory and assume polls are 100% accurate and Hillary actually had a 99% chance to win, she still lost, so what's the fucking point? Unless someone can find a method that's capable of producing a 100% chance and has never failed in its entire history, there's just no reason to give a shit about it. You might as well just take up scrying or divining chicken bones. You'll be about as accurate as any of these chucklefucks.

At this point it's blatantly obvious these polls are skewed on purpose with that level of turnout projected is just to demoralize voters. Yeah the GOP is so optimistic now with the polls that give Biden double digit leads, I can't wait for the +20 Biden lead on Trump now.
That is why if people want a better picture of how the race is turning out, they should look at how Trump is doing in Pennsylvania with Baris's poll when it comes out (along with the all but certain upcoming poll in Arizona) and to see if that state and Arizona keeps trending Republican in voter registration. If Biden is leading in Pennsylvania by a noticeable margin and the DNC overturns the gains made in Arizona and especially Pennsylvania in voter registration, then the polls are to some extent true and we can expect a Biden win. If, however, Biden/Trump are dead heat in Pennsylvania or the latter even beats Biden and that registration continues to favor the GOP, then we know those are bunk and that this will be a close race.

Just one more reason SoCal eats shit.
From Minnetonka, Minnesota today, and yes that is in Hennepin County. The parade was reportedly over 500 cars and stretched for miles.

Poor old Joe can't even get ten percent of such a showing. And the people in the above clip vote,....for TRUMP!

Why wait?

I have so many questions:

1. Who is this guy, and what polling experience does he have? Any examples on past polls he's taken?

2. This is the first I am hearing of Trump losing the "senior vote." How and why is this supposedly happening? Because of COVID? If this is true, then the seniors are either (a) idiots for believing what the media feeds them, or (b) selfish pricks for not caring about how lockdowns are negatively impacting children and the working class.
1. He is a nobody Biden shill from Miami with a relatively sized (?) podcast. Don't know specifics about his numbers. He justs jacks off NBC pollster Dave Wasserman for scoops. Wasserman is so notably full of shit, he sperged out on Twitter when Barnes called him out and blocked him. Apparently, this caused Barnes to be blacklisted by 90% of media pollsters.

2. Excuse is COVID. Actual reason is because of shit sampling methods that don't target seniors properly and predicting a 40m increase in turnout that goes 80% Biden.

I trust Baris over these fags anyday.

That Pence picture really changes my perspective. I thought he was the "more connected to hard workers" guy, thus the turnout is less (that and the fact that MSM doesn't like to show crowd sizes and RSBN only does Trump rallies).

2016 sure was certainly a hell of a lot more fun. But I guess you can chalk that up to 2020 has a whole just sucking.

IIRC most of the fun after the GOP primaries involved Hillary's shenanigans and her supporters acting up.

Now we have 2 dem candidates who's strategy involves hiding themselves and hiding their platform, and their supporters are Stay-At-Home Heroes™.

At least there's the riots and Rittenhouse.

it is like Ghostbusters vs Ghostbusters 2.

The same general plot with many of the same plots..except at least Ghostbusters 2 had the cooler villain. (fuck you Vigo > Gozer).

Trump vs The DNC 2...managed to find the one antagonist people care less about. Meming about Hillary was fun because she was a person in power grasping for more.

Meming about Joe isn't nearly as fun because we all know that he is a demented old man who barely knows where he is 90% of the time and is getting worse and worse as things go on. Like I hate the man because he is every bit as slimy and corrupt as Hillary, but..how the hell can you parody "If you don't vote for me you ain't black."

I dunno, GPrime85 did a good enough job.

Honestly with so much secret tape bullshit going on I just kinda wanna see Ttump get on mic and say "since the dems have been so desperately asking me to say this, I guess its time I gave you the pleasure. *clears throat* N I G G E R there. Said it. Bye." And just walk away. Fucking hell they're obsessed with the word!

Interesting on the PA male being more enthusiastic. If it is a male oriented election or even in PA, the Democrats are going to have to prepare for the slaughter they'll receive. They bank hard on that female vote to come out. If they don't, Bye Biden.

I wonder if "First female President" not being on the ballot is depressing women turnout versus Trump juicing the WC males. Guess we shall see soon.

But the "first female president" is on the ballot though. It's Harris. And my god is that a good reason to vote for Trump!

I don't know, maybe it's just because I'm depressed, have a shitty night job, and have nothing else to look forward to (not even Thanksgiving with my extended family, stupid COVID) but I stay awake at night worrying if I'll get the bad news and not eat or have decent sleep for days, just like in 2012.

Granted, very different scenario since I didn't have KF, Romney was on the defensive (and not a good candidate to begin with, really), I played my own optimism against all odds (and lost), and all that, but the thought of it still haunts me. It was also why I felt a bit sorry (briefly) for the losers of 2016, but then remembered they would never be sympathetic in reverse, some of them have said outright that they were going to have a hearty laugh when Hillary inevitably won.

The doomer mindset is probably more harmful to me in the long run, but man I can't go through that again, especially with the bad things Biden/Harris plan to do.

NPC.FIRMWARE UPDATE:

It's not "Packing the Court." Packing the court polls badly. Do not use Packing the Court; only russian bots and trolls use "Packing the Court."

It's "Depoliticizing the court."

Which specifically means "Ensure the court has a left wing bias by adding more members until it has one again, because the entire left wing establishment is reliant on having a politicized court that will force through things they don't otherwise have the political capital to do."

I might be the biggest DOOMer here. But I gotta say. Take a step back, relax, go do or watch something you like, laugh at DSP or something, just... Don't let politics fuck you up, man.

Politics in general are just total toxic drama, I remembered that lesson the hard way when I was informing the forum of the local landscape during the wuhan thread. God, I am so glad I could finally tune that shit off. Don't let them consume you, man. Just, even in a worse case scenario, it's not fucking worth it.

Honestly I see 0% chance of Harris winning this one. But even if she did, she'd probably get domed by a MAGA two days into her mandate. So what's the worse that can happen? Civil war? Big deal. Spain's gone through a bunch already and we're still here now ain't we. So hey, as we say here in Cadiz: you can laugh or you can cry, and why would you choose crying?

If they really wanted to depoliticise the court they'd brainstorm some reforms and come up with an appointment system whereby a highly divisive President with a 50%+1 level of support couldn't just throw whoever they pleased on the bench.
OH WAIT America already had that with a justice needing at least 60 votes in the senate, but guess who abolished that?
The executive and judiciary are too entangled, so there's no way to truly depoliticise it without removing any semblance of a democratic mandate (and in turn legitimacy from the public) for court judges, so a supermajority is the best they're gonna get.

It's really annoying how this perceived disaster has only happened because the usual suspects changed the rules because it felt like a good idea at the time, and now the minute it's negative implications are being felt their solution is a country-destroying power grab.
Biden's slogan is some platitude about 'Restoring the Soul of America' but even by their own admission, Lincoln didn't pack the courts in 1864 and he was dealing with half the country seceding

The only soul of america Biden wants to restore is the Deep State Swamp.
