Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Columbus was a piece of shit, not even gonna argue that, but I've yet to see Donnie straight up genocide anyone anywhere.
As compared to what? The cannibal tribes he fought? The fucking European royalty? Who was the moral beacon of the era which all must aspire to? Dude was an explorer which by definition means you don't work under ideal circumstances because you don't know what the fuck is out there and what could be utilized.

The kenya story seems to be about Trump reigning in pharma companies which means they can't dump overstock on the third world market for pennies anymore and do tax write off loopholes.

Basically American's can't pay for the bulk of drugs anymore, other countries got them for cheaper since americans provided like 90% of the profits and upkeep to the companies and are the sole reason the rest of the world ran that way when it came to medical drugs. It now means the rest of the world pays more while Americans will pay less because the companies now have to make up the void that was formed.

I've had to listen to coworkers today going on about Trump is gonna pardon the guys who tried to kidnap the governor. (Is that who these guys are talking about? I'm bad with names.)
They are completely off the deep end and even then they don't seem to understand that he couldn't pardon them if he lost. There's no way the trial is done by them. The only reason I'm not convinced your redditor is my coworker is that he would use "orange man". This is a grown ass man who says that shit out loud.
I think people forget that the president can only pardon people for federal crimes. If they are charged on the state level, there's nothing the President can do.

That's also why Trump can't pardon Kyle Rittenhouse for example.

Edit: I guess six are being charged Federally and seven are being charged on the state level. But I think the six would also face some form of state charges. I'm too lazy to look this all up.

You know I'd feel bad for people that lost an election despite all their efforts, but looking at this, it makes me think if Hillary won, her supporters would be the smuggest pieces of shit ever

The comments there is a fucking goldmine. I dont care if it's 3 years old, it's still funny to look at.

Why would he pardon leftists?

Julius Caesar pardoned many of his political enemies even after the civil war had concluded, he was rewarded for his kindness with 23 knife wounds puncturing his body on the senate floor.

And Columbus, like many Catholics of the time, actually was more concerned with converting the native people to Catholicism because they feared that if these people did not hear the word of the one true God their souls would be lost to damnation. Not to mention that European diseases did most of the killing, not through an act of malice but just through contact with the natives, this also applies to the natives of North America as the diseases were just unknown to their bodies and immune systems and it ate through them like wildfire consuming an old dried up forest.

You think thats bad? I knew (emphasize on past tense) someone who refused to use the word "Trump" whatsoever. If they did they would make disgusted noises as if they said some sort of cursed word. More amusingly anytime they said something that rhyme with the dreaded T word they would audibly pause for a second processing what they where about to say, then sort of slurred the word to make it sound less like Trump.
At that point you are way past just being annoying and overly political into full blown mental illness.

You know, I never really cared one way or another about Columbus.

What he did was impressive as hell, giving the technology and science at the time. That he crossed the fucking Atlantic Ocean AND made it back to report on the Indies was pretty badass.

But...

The way the fucking "I'm 1/32nd Cherokee" and other mixed race buffalo fuckers act about him, along with their "Give us back our stolen land!" bullshit make me want to build a 900 foot tall Jesus version of him in Tulsa Oklahoma.

I'll be honest, I always thought things sucked for the Indians, they got screwed by a bigger, more powerful, and tougher opponent who could match their savagery with gunfire.

I don't know what it is, but something about the fucking wannabe and babyfat redskin's attitudes rubs me seriously the wrong way on Twitter.

Most adults of the Native Americans don't act like that, it's just something really fucking annoying about the ones online.

Oh boy did trump piss the media off with this one

On that note, the natives, and everyone who bitches about what happened to them never really seems to grasp the simple fundamental truth of the whole situation - what happened to them was always going to happen. That columbus was the one who found the americas and reported it back home is incidental. It could just have easily been the norse 500 years earlier, the chinese, some african country or whoever else. Sooner or later the americas were going to be discovered by somebody and when they were people were going to start arriving from different parts of the world. It doesn't really matter who they were or where they came from, they would have brought the same diseases with them and the overall result would be the same for the natives. The way the continent looks today might be vastly different if the chinese or whoever else happened to be first, but overall the natives were going to get royally fucked by infectious diseases sooner or later.
