I think there's something else to be considered regarding young people being okay with having an affair with a married man: a lot of kids in the past decade have been pretty much raised by the internet (you don't create a parasocial relationship with a middle-aged manchild playing videogames online if you have parents remotely interested in what you're doing and offering you guidance), and there's this huge push online to normalize non-monogamy, to make it seem like it's only fair to let your partner fuck other people if you can't satisfy them sexually. I'm always hesitant to jump to the "man and woman standing in the same room?? THEY MUST HAVE FUCKED" mentality, but honestly after seeing their interactions on camera and how very sexually charged they are, in addition to them vacationing to Japan without either of their spouses, AND in addition to Gavin being openly uncomfortable with "Ryan x Meg" jokes... who knows how much worse they act when the cameras aren't rolling? Add to that a trail of e-girls so poorly concealed that a fucking toddler could have figured it out, and now we're supposed to believe that, for as close as Meg and Ryan supposedly are, she genuinely had no idea? Fraud is a deception made in pursuit of financial or personal gain. I, or anyone really, would need more info to opine whether he committed it against Rooster Teeth.

If I had to guess, I'd say he has an account that is against corporate policy. That's the most mild possibility. Not illegal maybe, but they could fire him for that... and... well... Lol.
