Fair enough, I'll abstain from putting words in people's mouth, but I've notice a trend with a lot of White Nationalists to rationalize their views with a kind of "Well people should just stick with their own" attitude while bringing up a study that shows that people to some degree have some kind in-group bias and I honestly don't think that because the majority of people feel a certain way that it should act as any kind of basis or rationale for someone's beliefs

This is going to cause some pearl-clutching, but honestly, Beau wasn't all that impressive for a politician's kid himself. The dude was a National Guard JAG officer who was likely never near any actual combat. He got a bronze star for his deployment, but that's just standard for any officer who does a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan. I've seen cherry ass 1st lieutenants who spent like one month on deployment and never left the FOB get bronze stars. It's honestly easier for an officer to get a bronze star from deployment than it is for enlisted to get an AAM.

Agreed, but I've noticed that cities with large black populations like Richmond and Oakland are rioting less than Portland and Seattle as well. Also Berkeley, which is considered an Antifa Stronghold, has been pretty quiet. Granted the aforementioned cities are smaller, I find it interesting that so little has happened in the Bay Area in general despite its well earned reputation for being a progressive shithole.
