Jesus it really probably is CP, isn’t it? Why else would this guy - who probably hadn’t even heard of a “Hunter Biden” before - report it to the FBI immediately? If we’re to believe that the extent of what was on the laptop is what was revealed yesterday, how would a bunch of emails and pictures of a random boomer signal the repairman to call up the feds?

The shop owner couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden, but said the laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general.

Alternative hypothesis: he starts finding shady shit, but not necessarily CP, on the computer, makes the connection with the sticker, and makes a not completely unreasonable assumption that if he doesn't report it he might find himself on the wrong side of an FBI interrogation over state secrets or some shit.

It doesn't make sense to me that it's CP that's on that drive. If the repair guy found that, It's straight to the cops who will not leave you with a copy. If it was, Giuliani would be getting his door kicked down now that it's known that he has a (Flat-out illegal to posses) copy of the drive.

Chances of it being CP are small, but it's a possibility. Hunter Biden is higher up the food chain than someone like Anthony Wiener. His dad was the VP and the favorite to be the next POTUS. The FBI is a deeply corrupt organization, if there's anyone they'd want to go into bat for, even for pedo related crimes, it would be Biden.

Saying all that it's more likely to be financial corruption, confirmation that Biden was funneling kickbacks through his son. If there's actual no shit emails between the Biden's discussing the cash that would be a big fucking problem for Joe. Not a head shot like kiddie fucking, more a shot to the guts.

Why don't people ask how Congressmen and Senators end up multi millionaires in retirement? How come Biden is filthy rich on a civil servant's salary? And yes you can hand off a copy of a drive full of CP that you innocently come across to your lawyer for safekeeping. So long as your lawyer does not distribute it etc. That's actually the safest way to avoid Law Enforcement shenanigans. "IWhile repairing the computer I found the CP. I cloned the drive onto a backup, dropped it into a sealed envelope and handed it to my lawyer for safe keeping, and we called the FBI".

This is kinda getting into political-thriller territory, but maybe for insurance? If I knew I had massive dirt on a crooked politician or something of that level, I would definitely keep a copy just in case.

They'd know I saw what was in it, and even if they come to me with an NDA, I'd expect that eventually they might wanna tie up loose ends, especially in an election year. I mean from the articles I've read, the guy seemed genuinely terrified at being potentially involved in any of this shit.

This x1000. If we have learned anything over the last 4 years, its that the FBI is the scummiest, least trustworthy law enforcement agency in America. At this point if I was on a jury and the conviction rested on the testimony of an FBI agent and nothing else, my default assumption would have to be the FBI agent is a liar. After what that agency did to Flynn, you cannot trust them as far you can throw them. If you are ever in a jury and a witness says he is an FBI agent, assume he is lying to your face by default. And make sure your fellow jurors knows that the star witness being an FBI agent means the star Witness is also a liar by default.

The repair tech was absolutely correct in going to an outside source like Giuliani before going to the FBI. If he had gone straight to the FBI they would have politely taken his evidence, destroyed it, and informed him he was under investigation for harboring CP. And if he argued otherwise, he would be arrested, tried, and a very professional FBI agent would go before a jury, and lie to their faces saying he had CP.
