I think it's actually possible to make a passable fake pillstream because Ralph doesn't have any variety in the things/he does or says. The only way to abort the retort is to do the killstream but better so why not do it with a fake Ralph.

It woulda come in handy too recently, as the one bit of a recent stream snipe I've seen the past week was Ralph trying to read some leaked DMs from some story he was covering, but doing such a terrible, uninteresting job of it that he had to give up on the 'bit'.

1st Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons is the elite tier. I can tolerate 3rd edition because the streamlined and consistent rules aid the normies in having fun. 5th edition was written expressly for smoothbrains and people crippled by autism, so you needed something that could port easily into online play because the kinda people who play it are not going to have the requisite social life needed to know local players and host games at a house that isn't disgusting.

So yeah, I can't imagine them liking any other version.

I prefer AD&D and 3rd edition myself. I only like AD&D because of the awesome CRPG's that were created with it (Icewind Dale/Baldurs Gate), and I like 3rd edition because it was a good balance between the complexities of AD&D and modern. Ralph and co most likely just cant understand any of the complexities from earlier versions, 5th edition is My first dungeon crawl by Fishur Price, so long as you can force a square peg in a star hole you can play with without having to really dig into the ruleset. All that being said, I will fall on my sword for everyone too scared to say it, THAC0 is Wack0.
