Also the NY Times released an article casting doubt on the whole debacle and focusing on conflict among staff at the NY Post. They felt that including Bannon's previous fraud charges pertaining to the border wall, "sources close to employeees" saying they were uncomfortable with the timing of the release, and several of the NY Post journos involved having pictures next to Ivanka was important enough to use as ammo supporting their idea that this is all just a Hail Mary partisan hit piece. If you have very important information, the best way to keep it secure is to store it on airgapped devices (not connected to the internet). The Guardian did something similar when they received Snowden's files, storing them on devices without network connectivity while they reviewed the information to see what they could publish and what they should redact.

It's probably not going to be the time of reckoning, but if anything would bring about the reckoning, it'd likely be this or something that is an aftereffect from this.

If there's a lot of CP on there or hard evidence that can directly tie Biden or one of the bigwigs to CP or the Epstein stuff, it's more likely to kick things off.

If the incriminating evidence is "mundane" political corruption or collusion with the Chinese or Ukrainians but with a few images of Hunter Biden smoking crack and banging cheap floozies in Branson thrown into the mix, then it's a total nothing burger

I like how in these stories Russia is always this amorphous being. They can't pin it to Putin or a specific oligarch because then they'd have to substantiate their assertions. Nation-states aren't real and you're an individual-- EXCEPT with regards to things that damage the DNC, then the former soviets definitely exert a collective consciousness and national spirit which manifests in clandestine operations.
'Russia' is like Jiminey Cricket standing on Trump's shoulder begging him to pick the million dollar note off the street. And then he does it, and Business Insider acts stunned, as if Trump would have just ignored the boon right in front of his eyes regardless of Jiminey's antics.
If I were Biden I would have played the victim instead. Said everything on the computer was a lie but Russian agents compromised Hunter's psychological weakness and planted that info on his device while in Ukraine. It'd be flimsy but it beats their non-answers (which are really just admissions of guilt) AND gives their supporters an excuse to discount the info too-- which is really all they need. They're looking for an excuse mentally to ignore all this shit until the minute they go and vote out Orange Man.

Let's put a scenario where that happens, how could that affect in Biden election? you really think that the "vote blue no matter who" that is the majority of his electorate are going to care? they have the MSM spinning it very hard to put it as a nothing burger, they are not going to care, in their minds even a invasion would be good to get rid of orange cheeto, even if they broadcasted the damn thing on tv with subtitles and Hunter screaming his name loudly is not going to do nothing else except embolden trump supporters to own the father of a kiddie fiddler

Sadly, I think you're mostly right. There's a huge section of the left (and honestly the right as well) who don't give two shits what Biden or his son has done, so long as it means Trump gets kicked from office.

But that being said, if Alex Jones is actually right and this leads back to actual child pornography, I think that's going to tear the rugs out from underneath a lot of supporters. I have friends who are voting Biden and they'll probably still vote for him, even if he gets caught red-handed being involved with a pay-for-play scheme with the Ukrainians or being outright bought by the Chinese. They don't care. They've already ate up the dumbass Trump racism, human trafficking, Russiagate nonsense.

But child porn and child rape? That's another thing entirely.
