Only way I can see this running out in Bidens favour is if it is fake, and he knows it, because it *is* a gayop, just a DNC one, not a Russian/Chinese one.
Get Trump and all the Trump friendly media in a frenzy and then come out with hard proof that it's fake, and Hunter/Joe fill the next two weeks with filing suit against everyone who has "confirmed" it past few days.

I still don’t think they have anything more to gain from waiting than they do by blowing it out immediately. Waiting at all is suspicious, and that suspicion has been allowed to grow for almost a week.
Not to mention the fact that their MO has consistently responding to Trump’s claims as soon as possible, yet on this one their almost completely silent. What they
have said is so laced with mealy mouthed weasel words that it’s utterly unconvincing, even to the average Joe.
The fact that Schiff fell back to Russian fearmongering only to be soundly contradicted by the actual head of Intelligence reeks of desperation. If team Biden had anything, they would have fed it to their allies by now, especially before making themselves look like idiots with their public statements.
I expect that they’re biggest push to counter the narrative will come during the debate, but depending on what drops before then it may be too late. Either way, I don’t expect the counternarrative to be especially convincing; they may try to blatantly lie, but it sounds like Guliani has the receipts.
All signs indicate that he has Biden dead to rights; the only question is whether the worst of what’s alleged is bad enough to actually sway anyone. It’s unfortunate that we even have to ask that question, but that’s where we are politically, and I don’t think it’s an accident we got here. They may lose the White House, but the DNC and other political elites have already won a massive strategic victory by convincing half of America that Trump is so evil that it’s worth overlooking unprecedented corruption to vote against him.
I just hope that they don’t get away with it.
There’s a chance this is all fake, but that would require the DNC to have botched the response as badly as they did while knowing they could easily disprove it. They wouldn’t have to save up this long for a knockout blow if they weren’t actually worried about this being true.
