I’m reading older posts from this weekend about the weather.

Funny this topic came up, Harris landed in Orlando today and the weather is pretty ugly right now.

If it was July, that’d be normal though.
If it's 3pm it's raining in Florida. This is the way it is.

Also Harris is literally Satan's Whore so hopefully a hurricane comes and obliterates Orlando giving us a 2 4 1 deal of purging disney as well as DNC's president in waiting.

The fact that Biden has embraced and being embraced by Bush era neocons, is being used as a positive by his supporters. And the Bernie Bros and AOC simps apparently don't care about that either.
I was astounded Kamala even brought it up despite her being one of the most pure examples of a sociopathic swamp creature in existence. I imagine most people just cope to themselves that the Orange Man is just so bad that even the Bush neocons don't like him but I wonder how many have brief moments of self awareness when they question if they really are the righteous, noble #resistance they delude themselves into thinking they are.

I see a lot of maps with Biden somehow winning The Rust Belt.

Look, I know it was a slim margin Trump won by but that was due to Hilary campaigning there a lot competing with Trump. Biden has left the Rust Belt mostly in the dust. Has there ever been a campaign event Biden did in Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin? Has he helped gain back jobs in those areas as well? Trump has spent a lot of time trying to boost up those midwestern Rust Belt workers and I've seen Biden do none of that shit. None whatsoever. I think he's gonna get the Rust Belt. Minnesota, less likely, but I think he'll at the very least get Michigan and Wisconsin disregarding Detroit or whatever other metropolitan areas, though I doubt there are many.
Biden sent Elizabeth Warren to a Minneapolis suburb yesterday to talk to a small ”non-public” crowd in the middle of the woods. :story:

Jesus that is BAD.

Why are all the Dem rallies like this this year? They're all uniformly tiny, 50-100 on a great day.
It wasn't like this 4 years ago, or even in 2019 with certain primary candidates. What the fuck is the Biden camp doing they can't rent out a basketball court or baseball park to rally the troops?
You'll say there's no passion for it, but the Democrats hold every large metro in the nation. They haven't even staged a rally in some hive like San Francisco or Boston. The goal of rallies, pre-Trump at least, was to give campaigns a bit of fodder to run with in their ads. They could pack a stadium in Cali and lie by omission when running the same footage in Nevada or Arizona. The sentiment here is that Biden won't last 10 minutes alone in that environment but still! Thats when you invite the likes of Warren up there to the cheering crowds, not have her usher random pedestrians into the woods like Winnifred Sanderson

Even Tulsi Gabbard kissed the brass ring. It was bizarre. I cannot be the only person who noticed this.
this doesn't excuse her endorsing biden at all, but i remember reading gossip from here in march suggesting that surf mommy wanted to endorse boinie as she did in 2016.. except he actually refused tulsi's endorsement. even if this is true i have no idea why she didn't just refrain from endorsing a candidate, but that's politics for ya

This is one of the strangest things to come out of this election. I've talked to people who I vividly remember being very anti-war in the 2000s now using the neocons as a trophy of how bad Trump is. It is so fucking weird and frustrating, do these people not have memories? Do they not have object permanence? But I guess that's what my autistic brain gets for wanting consistency from people. (:_(

On that note, why the fuck do black people vote for Biden at all? Is it the veneer of being Obama's VP? Biden is just old white democratic politician #43 to me.
Black as a voting block has been heavily Democratic for decades, I don't see how anything Trump has done would shift that support to Republicans. Any good will he could have garnered has mostly been undone by unforced errors on his part.

Most votes for Biden aren't even votes for him so much as they are votes against Trump. Regardless if Trump loses or wins it's a referendum on what the American voters think about his brand of politics. If he wins Trumpism is here to stay and you will see more and more politicians take the Lindsey Graham/Ted Cruz lane and tuck their tail between their legs to embrace it for their political future even if they initially bucked or retire so millennial Trump clones can take over. If he loses, and especially if the Senate also flips blue, many high ranking Republicans will be happy to pretend Trump never happened and go back to generic neo-con shit or start another Tea Party by the next midterms as they suddenly become very concerned over the national debt with Biden in power after running up the score under Trump.

At this point despite the polls that say Biden will win or the anecdotal posts on these boards that say Trump will win based on yard signs and car stickers I'd say it's close to 50/50. The swing states Trump realistically needs to carry this he's at least close in and the electoral college favors him. If he somehow loses Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, or Pennsylvania his night ends early. Otherwise he's on pace for a repeat of 2016.

Unfortunately I think election day will only be the beginning of riots or wingnut accelerationist domestic terrorism plots and maybe both depending on who loses so we're probably fucked either way.

The entire left went from antiwar in the middle east to Obama's drone strikes being a wacky punchline. I don't remember when they replaced the religious right as the paty of censorship. So many people don't actually want what they say they want, they just want to win. It's probably worse for leftwing activists, because it's not so much a viewpoint but a messiah complex that drives them.

No it's not. This election is still a referendum on the Democrats and whether we want to live in their fucked up world where men can chop off their dicks, put on a dress and call themselves women.
If he wins Trumpism is here to stay
Trumpism is here to stay even if he loses. If the base has the choice of losing with Trumpism or losing with neoconservatism, they're gonna choose the former every day of the week.

This post makes me want to drink bleach. Trump’s foreign policy bad? Do you realize how cucked Iran is right now!?

The agreements which Donald Trump has entered with Iran and Russia permit him, much to his satisfaction, to continue the careful cultivation of his personal friendship with the Emperor of Russia and of the peaceful relations which for a decade have existed between the US and neighbouring Russia, and which correspond with his own desires as well as with the interests of America.

maybe the small print of her application for the DNC primaries?

He isnt turning blue blacks red, he is turning non voting black into voting red blacks and biden is bad for turnout of younger blacks.

The one thing the Democrats have succeeded at is turning their base into hypochondriacs and terrified mask-wearing recluses. TDS requires an extreme opposite reaction to whatever Trump says, so when he said Wu Flu wasn't so bad, they had to turn it into the biggest threat the nation ever faced. Democrats must swear allegiance to The Science and treat every crowd (other than BLM riots) as a death sentence.

If that sounds like a stupid, short-sighted strategy in an election year, well, yes. But Democrats were also turned into huge believers in Big Data and social media after 2008. Amplify that by the Twitter bubble and bring Big Tech on board to manipulate the isolated populace, and you can see why they're sticking with it instead of admitting they need to copy Trump.

That narrative also lets them hide their ailing candidate, so maybe it isn't so stupid after all. It's just the best strategy to deal with a stupid situation of their own making.

Because they wanna keep up the whole "rallying during COVID" shenanigan shit, so they stay distanced.

Which is strange. Trump can fill out an airport lot with little to no cases get reported from yonder (unless your name is Herman). I can only imagine they don't want to something similar for Biden in case he gets COVID because he's probably fucked, health-wise, compared to the fat orange fuck.

The Republicans need a strategy to go on the offensive in places like Oregon. A lot of blue areas are held by the Democrats by default despite their policies constituting a decades-long middle finger to most of the people living there. The emergence of Antifa could actually help with this because they're easy to manipulate and their actions make great campaign fodder.

If I were getting paid big bucks to work on Grand Strategies for the GOP instead of shitposting run-on sentences here I'd say the big idea for the campaign would be to try to replicate the way the Red Wall states flipped from Labour to the Conservatives at the last UK election. Like those blue areas held by the Democrats 'by default' there were a load of places where people voted Labour because it was essentially family tradition despite the fact that Labour was run by irritating, privately educated faux Marxists who never missed an opportunity to express contempt for 'gammon' who'd voted for Brexit, working-class people, anyone who worked a day in their lives and people asking plaintively if their toddlers really needed to be asked continuously if they might be trans.

Because of the way that trends that appear in the US often appear in a modified form in the UK and vice versa it seems clear to me that the GOP should be looking at Labour's crushing defeat in 2019 and trying to see if they can learn from it. Just like Trump's supporters were clearly emboldened by the result of the Brexit referendum. As the great public intellectual George Lucas observed 'it doesn't repeat but it rhymes'.

As much as I would love for Trump to win Oregon as an eff you to BLM and Antifa, 11 points is most likely too big a gap to close.

I can see Trump getting it closer though. 47-42 maybe. Even that would take 60K votes to swing from blue to red.

I think Trump is in with a chance in Minnesota of you look at the Academic Agent video I posted earlier.

Dems are 9587 ahead based on extrapolating how the registered voters vote but there's a load of unaffiliated voters. Who could easily vote mostly Trump. Clinton won by 1367716-1322951=44765 last time.

He does a breakdown of unaffiliated voters and I think they're going to vote mostly for Trump.

You make us miss Ashy

He makes me miss Tuscangarder.

Lines are LONG man. Its going to take to take atleast 2 hours to voot. A lot of Cubans though.

Mostly White and Hispanics, low jogger amount. Mostly old people, only young people here are middle aged blacks.
More visible Trump hats in line than Biden support.

There's no way those Cubans are voting Democrat.

Trump is really putting McSally out in the open to get the vote out for her. Let's see if it works.

Ride, McSally, Ride!

Politics have become a twisted team sport for morons. Sad, but true.

Deep down, all they really care about is that their side wins and if they are on the left and on the Democratic party, then all they need is a W for Team Blue and that's it.

They can deny that until the cows come home, but I really feel like alot of it is just "They picked their team, and they want their team to win" and then they cover it up with flowery language to make it seem like they are more noble than that.

I hate to say it, but its the only way I can explain how they excuse such horrible behavior from their side, open and obvious bias from the media, and contradictions to stuff that their side did 20 years ago.

This is true for the politicians, but most people on the ground in politics want to change something. It's usually only one or a small handful of things. The rest they just tow the party line on.

Ohio has 10% more Republicans in the state, so no Biden victory.

As for Florida, well...

No.
Well, it's Nevada vs Miami, but you get the idea.
neo-cons are completely irrelevant.
Except to the left, which seems to think that their endorsements are actually worth anything.

Apparently, getting your adversaries to back down without firing a shot is a bad thing.

I don't see what the big deal is: she's just returning to nature to be among her people. Come on, you think you own whatever land you land on? The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim? But Elizabeth Warren knows every rock and tree and creature has a life, has a spirit, has a name. You think the only people who are people are the people who look and think like you? But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger you'll learn things you never knew, you never knew. Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon, or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned? Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
