PTSD can be caused by many things, and there are a number of other triggers aside form that. Many traditional "Lolcows" are either autistic or exhibit Borderline symptoms(which is essentially perma-PTSD of varying degrees).

An awful lot of the people I know who you'd write off as SJWs have genuinely traumatic experiences. You might make fun of deny they are traumatic in some cases, and in other cases they just won't tell you because you make fun of and deny traumatic experiences.

It's not up to you to decide exactly how sensitive someone should be. I'm also not going to deal with problematic "SJWs" when you will go straight to harassing a vulnerable person. You don't care much about Vets either. It's just a means to an end to silencing SJWs, like the "Children starving in africa" argument.

Regular grade triggers are weaker than that, but they still exist. People who've been through traumatic experiences - and almost every trans person has been at some point or other - will tend to relive certain memories or imagine dark things under certain situations. These things can add up. Being trans isn't easy. Being autistic isn't easy. Often, being any sort of minority isn't easy, because you not only have to put up with a lot of shit but people pouring extraordinary amounts of efforts into telling you that you don't actually experience this shit.
