Fanmade Pokémon Designs (Fakemon) - Tracers, garbage designers, and of course, furries

I don't know, personally speaking, I like the idea of these "Buddyized" Pokémon existing somewhere. I only did a bit of skimming through the Wiki, but apparently they were artificially made to have a more friendly appearance akin to an Evil Team that is just Team Plasma but different (if that makes sense). All of them having Fairy typing also makes sense because it is a typing that is associated with friendly Pokémon and themes.

Plus, some of the designs of these variants aren't that bad, I think something pretty cool could be conceptualized with these.

It could be the artstyle on this one, but I find the Dugtrio super cute and funny (tho' I would probably have it as its own separate thing, since they're all very different like to be three Digletts put together).

Do I need to say anything on this one? It's funny, it's just funny, I don't even know where to start with this one.

It could also be because they're balloon-like Pokémon (like Driflim), but nah, gotta go further than that.

I haven't looked at the original Pokémon this region has, though, just the regional/Buddy variants, and I mostly find them to be pretty harmless in comparison to other stuff that has been featured here. there are still some pretty bad ones, though.

There are better color palettes for ice-type Pokémon, and they're usually NOT this saturated, not even close, this one's abysmal to look at.
I think that the Shinx variants were made by DarkandWindie, which is why they look like shit. It does look like his style, where everything is awkward and stiff.
Speaking of, this is his latest "generation" so far: https://darkandwindiefakemon.fandom.com/wiki/Generation_VII?mobile-app=false

Maybe you could make the yellow a bit less saturated?

This looks like a bootleg Arceus.

I honestly don't really know what to call it, like they just turn all pink and cutesy and friendly? Calling it TF is more fitting but there's just something funnier calling it bimbofication instead.
The term is stepfordization, because his verse is based off of his evil team being 1950’s themed and as such there’s a lot of greasers and stereotypical average 50’s family dynamic.

Such a great content for 666th post in the thread.

Also, on non-pokemon fakemon: had anyone ever seen fan-Yugioh monsters* that were neither waifushit nor drawn Chris-chan level?

Someone called Da7ed on Instagram is redesigning Pokemon, and they're going w e i r d

Muscle fetish looking Venusaur, that also looks nothing like a frog

Birdizard, because Charmander isn't a salamander now and bird type, amiright?

Very overdesigned looking Blastoise, with a Wartortle that has tools and a detachable helmet.
At least they bothered to make Blastoise steel type... I always hated how he was monotype when Venusaur and Charizard both had two types.

You got a link to their Instagram? If they've done most of the Kanto dex, it could make for interesting material for the thread.

So, I found a video from Hoops and potential evolutions for pokemon:

Another mega Lapras concept

There's a part two, but I don't feel like going over that one right now.

I think I can link it, yeah.
They do redesigns randomly, but most seem to be kanto.

They legitimately made this to be 'genderfluid'. Also, the type swaps and changing of reptomammalian kaiju into rodents.

They have a Cinderace which looks fine, if missing the point a bit. But when someone said it looks a little canine, they just responded with-

Some are pretty cool, but that Unown is grotesque.

It means general mental gymnastics or insanity that other people spew, I assume. Also, non-binary nidoran? The fuck?

Ah, I forgot to mention... Have any of you heard of PokeFarm? (For some reason, it's also known by PokeFarm Q.)

It's supposed to be a fangame that focuses more on raising the Pokémon rather than battling them. You can make them "spar", but it's very barebones. The idea is actually pretty novel on paper, as we've only ever got a glimpse in how the Pokémon breed and reproduce (Hell, an NPC even remarks about how nobody in the history of humanity has seen two Pokémon fuck).
However, it seems to be somewhat infamous for its terrible management and the mods being very dismissive of criticism to help improve the website. Hell, they even censor reviews of their own website.
Screenshot (3059).png

I couldn't find a archived version of this person's review, but apparently the content in this review was "illegal", Niet doesn't bother going any further into this. It's censorship no matter how you put it, Niet.
In addition, every review complaining about pay-to-play content is met with a reply that denies the game's money.
Screenshot (3060).png

Most bad reviews are bombarded with dislikes, and the owner of the website going "nuh uh!! that's not true, you're lying!"
In fact, the website has been in "beta testing" for over 11 years now, so many of it's features are incredibly outdated.
Anyways, the game actually has a preminum currency named "Zophan Canisters" (ZC for short), which can only be obtained by purchasing them.
Screenshot (3064).png
A considerable amount of in-game items require ZC to purchase, with the majority them being unable to obtain in any other way.
Screenshot (3065).png
Want to shiny hunt? Too bad, fork over 1.75 british pounds. Want to keep said shiny charms? That'll be 18 pounds, sir, thank you very much.

...And since I'm bringing this up in the Fakemon thread, the game has its fair share of Fakemons and fan-megas. You can't view them if you're not logged in, or haven't obtained them, but you can find them on the wiki. Eggs also all have their own unique designs rather than the generic egg design.
Screenshot (3071).png

Not going to lie, I actually really like this one.

Funnily enough, the game actually has a page on the heavily autistic Crappy Games Wiki. Most of it's criticisms are legitimate apart from the fact that the page keeps complaining about the website "stealing" assets from the Pokemon games and nitpicks as minor as someone's username being a "swear word" known as "Crappy", even though it's a fangame.

I have an account on this from when I was super bored and clicked on an ad for it that had kept popping up. Its...pretty dull of a site, as expected, and just reminds me of a less interesting version of the other pokemon egg hatching site: GPX plus, which has a much more interesting layout etc without microtransactions.

God, I've been waiting for someone to talk about this fucking game so badly.
