His chat says stuff like that because DSP isn't mature enough to deal with those scenes, they make him visibly uncomfortable and so of course his chat play on that.

I just chalk this kind of thing up to Phil going way overboard in his attempts to make it look like he has put his immature past behind him. We know he hasn't done that at all, and since when does he anything competently or convincingly, especially when he visibly doesn't want to?
Phil has clearly never understood the word "mature", and so it is no wonder that he thinks THIS is the embodiment of it. It's no different from when he comes off as so horribly off-putting when interacting with other human beings. He's like an alien that got left here because he was born dumb.

Yes, this is how he overcorrects. Back during Classic Phil as soon as a woman character appears on screen he'd immediately get "COME HERE BABY GIMME A KISS ACK ACK ACK COME ON WHIP THEM TITTIES OUT ACK ACK GIMME A BLOWJOB ACK ACK ACK". Now he thinks that the Mature Adult(tm) thing to do is to be more puritan than even the biggest sexual puritans, or how we say in my country "more Christian than Jesus himself". Kissing, hugging, flirting, any display of romantic affection no matter how minor is now as bad as displaying an extreme snuff pedo eyes-wide-shut BDSM orgy in his eyes. That's why even something non-sexual like breastfeeding is now something sexualized, just because a bare titty is shown.
Lastly, I don't think he genuinely cares about a bare titty being whipped out to feed a baby, this is all a circus act to showcase how he "matured". As they say in Phil's sweaty musclebound shirtless world, it's all just kayfabe. He's just so much of a hermit he doesn't know what maturity is which is why we get these overcompensating clown shows now.

I get your point that the marriage will spill the responsibility over to his Champions gambling fund but personally, I don't really fall in the 'wish ill will' on his wife camp that I see here a lot and it's not like a wreck isn't likely to hurt someone unrelated to the autism vortex as much if not more than Phil and his wife so I hope it doesn't happen.
Actually I think that's a whale call for Fall Guys as he was saying it may have been the last stream while tips were slow in the first half of the previous stream of it? He still put on a vest though by the end of it so why wage quit is being teased I don't know, maybe he's sick of not winning at the game any more and this is the cover story instead.
Since Amber Reid just won't post and apparently is still alive, I figure DSP is like one Halloween costume as Vince McMahon away at this point from securing that Mooby win from Yaniv finally but I always pull for underdogs usually too so that could be tipping the scale.

Thing is, he talks like a puritan, but he LOOKS more like an embarrassed child. Obviously it's because he doesn't know how to pull off the act properly, but there may be a little repressed memories in there as well that are getting triggered because he's saying to himself: "Okay Phil, time to pretend that this is inappropriate instead of acting like you know anything about sex either, got it?" And his brain is clueless so it just relies on past experience of watching movies with momma where suddenly there were nipples on screen.
I assume that Classic Phil was doing much the same thing: pretending to understand something beyond his grasp in an attempt to fit in. I would feel sorry for him were it not for the fact that his lack of growth isn't from his mother, it's him. All he had to do all those years ago when he started catching shit for how he acted on the Shoryuken forums was take a moment for self-reflection and realize that he was in the wrong. He chose not to, and continued to adhere to that policy of never accepting blame forever. So fuck him, I'm glad it has cost him so much.

Agreed and I think it cuts both ways. In the old days when he made sexual comments, they often came at random times-it wasn't just when a scene was obviously meant to be suggestive or romantic, he made them whenever a woman appeared on screen and even creeped on one of the Hedgehogs from "Sonic Heroes" (I swear I am not making this up, it was disturbing even with riffing).
He's not a deviant who toned it down for his "mature adult" act, he just thought that dirty jokes = always funny from watching too much AVGN back in the day and now he thinks that emulating a sitcom husband = mature adult from too much TV and probably us calling him a manchild for making those jokes in the first place. It certainly fits with everything else we've seen about him; he does not seem to have any real convictions or beliefs beyond what he got from too much Internet and TV and not enough socialization.

And being too dumb to form real opinions on anything beyond his very small number of interests. Guarantee you that if you could force him to be honest for an hour, going and back and forth between wrestling and political topics would result in him alternating between encyclopedic exposition and utterly blank stares.
Odd, but also explains a LOT about his fascination with them.

I agree with this 100%. I would love to see if some single player games suffer in sales due to streamers. Say for example a linear story game where you can simply watch someone else play it, and instead of buying the game you give said money to the streamer.
Also this year with Covid is something you have to keep in mind, more so with people like Phil. Streamers made bank due to everyone else being in a shitty situation. Streamers did not suffer, at all. To lead from that, they are the first to jump on the cancel train and/or insult devs, who this year did struggle. I don't agree with someone being able to buy a game for 60$ only to stream it to thousands and in some situation make more money from it than the people that worked on it.
To be somewhat dumb. They pay for one copy, only to share it to thousands. To me that doesn't seem fair, there should be some deal in place.
I know we will never see eye to eye with this, and that's fine. But I believe there will come a point where this will change and I look forward to that day.

I remember there was a game made by a husband and wife duo that was essentially about their child who had died from cancer. The game sold something like just 10,000 copies despite the accolades it got. The husband noted that it sold low but had Lets Plays with millions of views, and said that was part of the reason why. Gamers, the most persecuted class in existence, got their panties in a bunch that someone who wrote and made a story based game to help cope with their toddlers death said that LPs contributed to bad sales and that the developer copywrite struck some no commentary LPs.

When it comes to streaming the entirety of brand new games, which typically have a detailed narrative going on because god forbid that it feel more like a video game and less like an interactive movie, I imagine those do suffer in sales to an extent.
But personally, I feel that that's a reason to make ones game far more about playing it than watching it. The closer your game is to being a movie, the easier it is for the effect of consuming it to be shared for free and have most of those people satiated by the viewing. Kotaku was wrong to publish the script for Fallout 4's main story, but you notice it still sold 12 million copies on launch day? That's because knowing how the story goes isn't enough, not even in a game that people have had some pretty negative shit to say about. If it was 60% cut-scenes, you can bet that it would've sold a lot less on day one.

Considering that prior to streaming were the many many YT playthroughs of a number of single-player games and now the market leaning towards streamers, publishers seem to prefer bringing them on with freebies and media passes (over giving them to your typical game jornos) rather than lobbying for better IP protection for their games being played or heavily abusing the DMCA tool like Atlus would do with the P5 lets plays would suggest that the massive rise in streaming isn't hurting sales.
Videogames are making more money than ever so it. Hell, Fall Guys outsold LoU2 by being a streaming success. Not to mention games like Resi7 which sold amazingly well irregardless of damn near every man and their dog putting up their gameplay on YT. Not forgetting that most large studios (for indie devs it's more case-by-case) people are payed a wage and then a bonus on perhaps next-quarter sales or however they figure it out, most of the money you spend on the game goes back into the company for paying wages sure, it it's not like $10mil in sales translates into worker wages so it's not as if the lost sales are going to massively impact the smaller workers. Hell, look at Blizzard making more cash than ever but Bobby decides that people need to be laid off because the moneypile isn't as big as he'd like.
Similarly, I'd be more concerned about giving large corporations like Acitivision the power to decide what footage of their game is and isn't allowed on the internet, it's a slippery legal slope that I would cynically see being abused for monetary purposes. Not to mention sweeping things like the Hong Kong hearthstone debacle under the rug.
Just look at how nightmarish the music DMCA and copyright claims are on YT, I'll let companies Microsoft lose a couple of hundred bucks off their billions if it means that it all devolves into a litigious battleground

need to look at other industries, and how long it took them to transition to government regulation, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, tv etc
even social media is in the transition phase with fake news and privacy shit, where the scotus was questioning facebook and google
but they were all probably fast tracked due to health & safety, anti-corruption, human right's issues and consumer protection
I think the best thing we can hope for (for maximum salt), is some scummy contract between the publishers and twitch/platforms

When you make broad generalizations about Americans like this you're missing the very obvious fact the country is a very big and diverse place. It's not like whatever European shithole you live in where everyone knows everyone and you can drive from one end of the country to the other in a day.
People from Texas are different from people in New York and so on and so on. You should look at America regionally not as one big whole. What you said applies to people in the south-west part of the country (or as it's known "The Bible Belt") but doesn't apply so much to a place like California. This is why the Civil War happened and why another one is probably eventual.
Edit: Unless you're talking about Boomers, but to be fair I think Boomers in whatever country you're from are also likely pretty sexually repressed.
