It's the 2008 Obama high.

That race saw a massive black and young people turnout and hasn't happened since. Pollsters keep factoring it in. One of the reasons why the polls have Biden up so high.

That's the funny thing about censorship. You can put people who register as republican in watch lists, you'll be left wondering why so many independents and democrats voted red. You can use riots to punish right leaning areas, you'll be left wondering why it became far right. You can take out any and all polls saying the left will loose from your model, you'll be left wondering why you weren't even close. Hell, you can even demonize and persecute people who admit to voting trump or being republicans, you'll be left wondering why the ballot box is filled with votes for trump when everyone arounds you claim to be a leftie.

When you censor and punish your political opposition, you're not being left unopposed, they'll just learn to hide their power level. Just look at my post about Cadiz's Carnaval in "Hispanic History and Traditions". When Franco ordered the chirigoteros murdered, he only managed to turn their craft into an actual political and religious act that would inevitably seep its way into even the highest ranks of his own party. He immortalized that he sought to end. Because censorship only serves to blind you to the real extent of your opposition's powerlevel, and through more subtle means it WILL expand and it WILL grow beneath the blanket of anonymity. You will merely protect what you seek to destroy.

'Cause in the end. Only way to convince someone that they're wrong is through honest and open debate. Everything else just hurts your own cause.

I'm in the Michigan area and I live in a more blue than red area due to my proximity to universities. I think I do see more Biden than Trump signs but I dont see that many signs in general and Trump signs are always placed up really high or off the main through fairs, but overall I dont see a lot of signs period. I still belive that the secret Trump voter is more common than can be accounted for simply because proclaiming yourself as a Trump supporter is dangerous. I mean the only time I have seen an incident of someone getting upset over Biden signs was the article about the crazy homeless man.

This is all anecdotal but I think a Blue wave is a fantasy and if Biden wins is going to be on spectaculalry razor thin margins that will be challenged and debated for years.

It doesnt matter how Trump wins it will be because of "Russia" but I dont need to say that here.

It is very easy to see the symptoms of a "silent majority" if you look. Then again, they're not exactly silent. They're BEING SILENCED.

Every poll that isn't obviously pozzed by oversampling dem areas a billion to one says the race is close.

A look at the number of signs reported says battleground states are plastered with trump while dem areas look like battleground states.

Florida's Latino marches/caravans/boat parades are legendary, and trump pulls in crowds everywhere with unanimous ease while the dems can barely get 10 people going to even the main events and wind up having more trumpers honking than supporters cheering.

And despite registering as a rep being something that people know results in being put on a watchlist they're still keeping the fight with the dems and putting their names out there, while moderates that will still vote trump most likely register as independent/undecided/even as dems.

Even early votes are pointing to trump despite most areas being paranoid about early vote due to suspicion of voting fraud... yeah. This is what a landslide looks like and if the media had ever half a spine they'd admit it. The majority isn't silent. They've been ballgagged.

These people have lost the plot. I think? That is the scary thing about this election. The two major factions in this country have both convinced themselves of diametrically opposed realities. Most of us here think all these lefties and politicos are insane. But what if WE are the crazy ones? I mean, it's possible. We are all anti-social autists on a shitposting board. Has our reality been skewed by that?Certainly it has, but are we the ones decoupled from objective reality for it or are people like Nate Silver?

This election is the only lodestone around which both these opposed realities orbit, and on November 3rd they are going to smack together. And only one reality will come out on top. What happens to the side whose whole world view gets shattered is where the real shit starts.

don’t have too many friends deep into politics but the ones I have that are right-wing literally do come to me telling that they’re scared to tell people publicly because left-wing will send literal death threats and shit, so yeah I’ll agree

Judging by the fact that my side is the one that does NOT believe men can chop off their dicks, put on a dress and call themselves a woman, I'm inclined to conclude that THEY are indeed the crazy ones.
