New York Post got their hands on a hard drive from Hunter Biden's laptop and shows Joe Biden lied about Hunter's dealings with Ukraine

Couple stories on the New York Post

FBI has had the laptop for over a year already and didn't say anything. Remember when Trump got impeached for congratulating the new President of the Ukraine?

What the hell is the FBI doing?

Supposedly there is also a video of him engaged in a "sex act" and a couple of photo's of him. This is one is particular juicy

Bannon’s Chinese group finally dropped something huge (if true). I feel like a big part of why democrats wanted this early voting is so people couldn’t be influenced to stay home or vote against Biden. I have no clue why they waited until a week before the election in a year where tons of people are early voting.

I think g news drops good pics but I've caught them a few times creative writing (see the Malia Obama thing) I'm really leery of anything they post now.

I also think Gnews is not really targeting western audiances and the main target is Chinese and Asian countries.

What is with Dorsey’s beard? He looks like he’s either converted to Islam or been held in captivity for months. Makes him look crazy.
He looked and sounded high as a kite, and there was (or still is) a fad in elite Silicon Valley circles involving "micro dosing" LSD or other hallucinogens. There's also a weird form of bat aids related virtue signaling I've noticed where people are letting their hair and beards grow wild in solidarity with the lockdown plebs despite easy access to grooming services.

They don't do slander. At all. In any way.
They do investigative reporting with far less editing than any major news source.
I have yet to verify if verities is biased or if said bias is democratic propaganda.

There is a yt docmentary talking about how trump has a long habit of hiring private investigators to gain leverage over other people.
Ill see if I can find it.

Considering trump is surrounded by untrustworthy government intelligence workers (FBI or otherwise) him relying on private help shouldnt be discounted.

And such private help might cause a ruckus like airing the Biden familys dirty laundry during an election.

Literally every politician and most millionaires use private investigators.
Information is power.

Bias also doesn't matter as long as it isn't hidden bias.

I talked to another person about it today. They told me they haven't seen the story anywhere, so maybe its fake news. People just seem to have an implicit trust in the media corporations to just be morally good. Probably from all those corporate logos with the LGBTQ+ flag intergrated into them.

To be honest I kind of envy their ignorance.

"We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death".

I could only get through half of it. Cruz was merciless, but geez Louise, Jack's arrogance is just bewildering.

The biggest joke is Jack's idea that "harassment" silences people. Nothing but a poorly defined excuse for the anti-"harassment" police to use to suppress certain uncomfortable realities certain people don't want to acknowledge. People shouldn't spew dumb ideas into the relatively public sphere of twitter if they don't want to be "harassed" by reality. They could contain themselves in a heavily moderated discord server if they wanted, or any number of smaller forums. They choose to open themselves up by going on twitter. Though twitter is more and more acting like they want to be a smaller, selective community, despite still advertising as "the big platform for everybody". They really should just be shattered with the lesson to the public being not to trust any single large platform like that again.

It is disgusting how useless government is. They have Dorsey dead to rights on perjury and won't do shit.

That is Barr’s job to handle, really. Right now Barr and co. are waiting to see if they have 4 more years to clean house, or 2 months. Timetables matter when it comes to dealing with this level of corruption. Sure the Senate can send a guy to arrest Dorsey right now, but then Twitter would pull every media card they had with all of the mainstream outlets to push any panic button they had, just for the sake of more chaos.

Whats he gonna do realistically? It's like when people say "WHY DOESN'T TRUMP DO SOMETHING!?". They think politicians are like Feudal Lords who can go send out a bunch of Knights to round up some guy and bring him back to the town square to be hung or something. Unless the entire system is all geared into helping them (and it isn't), they can't do much.

Dude, this is the western internet. You were supposed to say "Samurai".

I don't support removing things like Holocaust denial or anti-Jew rhetoric, but if you're going to allow that but then not allow political stuff that's damaging to 'your side', especially when you claim you're only doing it to stem the flow of misinformation and the common understanding is that the Holocaust happened, you're being blatantly partisan and interfering with an election and should be treated as such. This goes further into every other thing they allow that could be characterized as 'misinformation', too, whether it's flat earth, anti manmade climate change, anti evolution, (x) truther movements or whatever goes against popular belief. None of those things should be censored, because it'll only lead to more political control over things, but when you're allowing those things and not the political stuff (especially when it's only against one candidate), that really stands out and should be dealt with.

That's it exactly. These hearings in Congress are essentially just public theater. The legislature doesn't have the power to charge people with crimes, that's what the executive branch does. The fact that Barr has been AG since February 2019 and we haven't seen any federal prosecutions for the Mueller/Russiagate coup attempt aside from one limpdick guilty plea from Clinesmith should tell us all we need to know about the DOJ's willingness to go to the mat against Silicon Valley for Trump.

Part of that is practicality, after all he might not be President in a few months, but it's also obviously motivated by an interest in preserving the basic institutions of government for the power elite. The peek that we've seen behind the curtain at the inner workings of the US government in the last few years should leave no doubt that the rot is thoroughly baked into the cake. What Biden did while in office was treasonous, but it isn't that much different from anything any long-serving politician has done, and I'm including both parties in that statement. Voting an outsider like Trump into office was probably the most impactful "peaceful" exercise of popular power that I've seen in my lifetime, and you can see how far that's gone towards cleaning up the corruption. If the DOJ actually prosecuted these people to the fullest extent of the law, we'd probably be looking at a systemic collapse of the entire national government.

I guess what I'm saying is that we should adjust our expectations for what Trump will be able to do even if reelected. If he goes balls to the wall, fires the entire upper management of the alphabet agencies (or just disbands some altogether) and the DOJ, then appoints loyal cronies like Giuliani into key positions, then you might see some movement towards accountability actually happen, but I am not holding my breath. He's still going to be stymied by a completely uncooperative Congress and a hostile judiciary. That said, he might do those very things and I would cheer it on.

Every significant (read likely to result in a settlement or judgement over a couple hundred thousand) lawsuit and many major business transactions I've ever been even peripherally involved in, the combination of which is a damn good sample size, involved private investigators. It isn't a wild or rare thing. If someone claims they have an injury that made it so they can't use their arm, a couple pictures of them playing in the local flag football league is a great and rather more common than you'd expect defense. If an executive is living beyond their means as you're conducting an audit or securing a large deal, it's a good red-flag for fraud, same with that kind of behavior from an employee when doing internal auditing. PIs aren't the sexy, crazy figures you would expect from the media. It's typically just a guy with facebook and instagram who follows you home from work 2ce to see what you do.

That said, Veritas has been around long before Trump and has been a 501c3 since 2011. They're a watchdog journalism and education group with a conservative bent. Nobody has ever been able to refute what they've published, and they've never been successfully sued. They release all their raw video and audio if you care to actually see it.

Zuckerberg is saying he was told by someone at the FBI that it was Russian disinfo.

It was brought up here pages back that this sort of feels like a proxy war between the CIA and FBI, and while I have no doubt Facebook would censor this because it hurts Biden, at this point I can't also ignore the idea the FBI would meddle as well. They flat out tried to do it in 2016 and the fake pee tapes. They have sat on the laptop for a year and did nothing.

I really do get a feeling it's true that Biden dropped those 30+ CIA informant names to the CCP and got them killed.

Hillary being an elector doesn't matter. She'll only be called on if New York goes blue, and if it does, it will be her duty to vote for Biden. All it means is that she won't be a faithless elector, and Hillary gets to potentially get one last kick of vindictiveness in as she votes against Trump.

I have never in my life wanted New York City to return to it's Republican roots more than this moment finding this out. And there's a good chance it could. When is the last time there were spontaneous pro-Republican parades through NYC like there was earlier this week? I don't think Reagan even made that happen.

Just imagine, Queef Hildawg having to vote FOR the man who retired her from politics to remain President. Be still my beating heart.

Zuckerberg better be prepared to put a name, face, date and time to whoever told him that from the FBI.
