I gave Chronicles 2 a 2-hour test drive and quit after that. The combat system was already Witcher levels of broken and getting on my nerves.

This also bothers me for more serious reasons. Because they fear a "fascist uprising" we now have to worry about protecting our property. As the last few months have shown, "fighting the Nazis!" means a fire bomb through your store or house. If their fear gets weaponized, the other side will have to weaponize theirs. REE is making it clear they are talking about violence.

The cruise ships have bombs and remotes. Who blows up the other first? (Speaking of Joker)

You got like 1/8th of the way into Xenoblade 2's combat if you gave up after two hours then, haha. By the end of the game, there's a ton going on.

Knowing that, I would give it another chance if I could. But a financial situation came up and I threw Xenoblade 2 on Mercari along with a bunch of other stuff.

Xenoblade 2 was a decent game but there’s a lot of padding in there. Probably takes 150-200 hours to get through everything. I hardly ever have time to play those massive, grindy, and side quest laden JRPGs but it’s pretty decent as far as those games go. I also got the spirit (or whatever it’s called) with the gigantic cans but the gacha system is terrible.
