Fucking hell, I just tuned in to that Biden "rally" in Florida. Forget about the polls for a while and just watch 10 minutes Trump and 10 minutes Biden in Florida and ask yourself, how the hell can this be close?

I almost feel bad for Joe because he really looks like he's has no idea what the hell is going on, almost.

And why the hell is he jogging of the stage 🤣 is he trying to prove something with that? Who the hell came up with that ridiculous idea to have him do a quick sprint whenever possible.

Also Joe's stump speech is absolute pathetic, he looks like a angry grandpa yelling at the clouds.

Am I Jewish, or am I Indian? I wish you Trump cultists would make up your damn minds. I am confused as to what I am because you guys keep changing it.
Personally, I think imagining you as an angry Indian man with a handlebar mustache, polo shirt, jeans, sandals, and a constant scowl on your face is funny.

So, yes, you are Indian. Dance, pajeet.

Anyone who advocates for originalism is batshit insane. She wants to bring us back to the original constitution, when women couldn't vote and black people were enslaved. As the world progresses, times change. A supreme court judge should be aware of that.

You're historically ignorant. Go read the text of the Constitution--nothing in there says that women may not vote, or that blacks should be enslaved.

It does say states get to choose who votes in their republican form of government. Guess what, when the Constitution was ratified, 12 out of 13 colonies restricted it men, but women could vote in New Jersey. Things changed over time, some states gave women sufferage while others didn't, and ultimately by 1920 we decided that should be uniform, so the 19th Amendment was passed.

(Fun fact: women's suffrage only lasted 17 years in NJ until they changed it so it was restricted to males. They must've had some... problems with the female voters that they didn't like. So much for female empowerment, I guess, but that's why the 19th was required.)

Same with slavery: no race is mentioned at all in the Constitution, it just restricts some things based on being "bound to service". In the 18th century that also included a bunch of indentured servants and others who were white. That's a longer topic, but the point is, once society changed to the point that we didn't want slavery, we passed an Amendment. We didn't spend 50 years trying to find judges who'd lie about what the text meant.

This is just derailing into general politics now. Go argue this in a Deep Thoughts thread or something.

Sure. AP News has a decent article listing her comments.

The issue is: the concept of a 'virtuous citizen' seems nebulous and liable to be arbitarily applied or disapplied.

Here's the Breitbart article to show a right-wing rebuttal to the talking point. Basically, ACB made that comment in relation to gun rights, which was the main point of her dissent quoted by the senator. So, legally speaking, she has not made any firm stances on the right to vote.

Still, it's not a good look imo.
The preceding paragraph above that statement contextualizes it as:

VOTING RIGHTS

In the same opinion on gun rights, Barrett dipped into constitutional history to note that states did more to protect the rights of people to own guns than their right to vote. In some states, people who were convicted of crimes lost the right to vote, but not the right to legally have a gun, she wrote.
If you're worried about how she worded it, that may be understandable, but the statement itself shouldn't be much cause for alarm, especially with the context provided.

Everyone in this thread is wrong, 1776 was when the Declaration of Independence was signed, the Constitution wasn’t ratified until 1788 and it didn’t go into effect until 1789.

Also ignore HHH, he’s just butthurt because people weren’t supposed to find out that Joe Biden was a corrupt CCP shill until after the election.

Trump is still going too, Biden's just ended. Why is he still going to Florida? He needs to keep whoring himself out with Barry in the Rust Belt.

Also, Hulk is the Trump of Farms; man just comes in and easily pisses off most people. You have to stop with the derailing though. I can almost taste the rising 'tism.

Sounds like me in my edgy teen days.

BaBiEs ArE a PaRaSiTe!!1!!11

I'll admit I had some negative thoughts about pregnancy, and then I went to the tard baby thread and babysat for a 1.5 y/o and wew, it really is a miracle.

No one because you're fucking gay for blocking him in the first place.

Blocking is for fags.
Let the hate flow through you!

I must admit though, it is funny throwing a little gasoline on the fire he's started.
Why would you block autism on an autism-watching forum? Unless it gets particularly banal, unfunny, and repetitive, I just don't understand it.
Narrator: It was in fact particularly banal, unfunny, and repetitive.

Between stuff like that, and the time he angrily challenged that guy in the crowd to a pushup contest, I always think it's like they nominated Izzy Mandelbaum from Seinfeld.

"You think you're better than me?!"

The jogging thing is to show he's fit, but I think his corpse-like appearance kinda ruins the effort.

Plus lol with his heart, that jogging is a little strenuous.

Also this conversation is lol with the new definition for jogging.
