Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Describing his parasitic existence as a "career", haha. Yeah Richard, careers built on having no useful skills whatsoever tend to be precarious.
It could have been a career if he put effort into it. He did get a pretty good amount of money out of SA, although the exact number will always be murky. Maybe not a career, actually, but he could be set if he didn’t have divorces, legal issues, pill addictions... oh and an office for day drinking that had no reason to exist

🤔

I love the degenerate white trash threatening to sue other degenerate white trash threat. "They had to charge me with something". Once you're arrested and charged, there's no way to get out of it without a conviction. Always being found guilty of something is a foundation of our justice system. "It's not a plea deal to plead guilty to a lesser crime". I think Rich actually believes that. He's that fucking stupid. I don't remember remember if the charges on that case were domestic violence and disturbing the peace or not. The current page just shows the Peace Disturbance. Can anyone remember if there were multiple charges originally? I'm a lazy fag and am not going to go searching for caps because Lowtax is a pathological liar and his word means less than nothing.

There are any number of ways Lowtax could have cashed out on SA or could be continuing to cash out on it. He didn't because he's Richard Kyanka. That's of course if you believe the deal with Jeff didn't include some pie and beer money on the side.

Fucking loony troony irony lowercase goons think their shit dead scam forum was the epicenter of the Internet for a long time, when all that means is they made a few long forgotten memes for like 3 years before being overtaken by 4chan in everything and becoming a dead gay forum.
"Remember Slenderman?" lol

This vindication means he's getting the keys to the forums back correct? Patreon quitters are going to be charged back-payments.

Or that probably all gets decided in the upcoming libel suit? Criminal court is about charges (not the money kind) and they have to give you at least one, civil court is the money court.

I came here to post just that before even seeing your post. He plead guilty to Peace Disturbance. So, another technical truth in that the assault charge was dropped because he plead to a lesser charge.
I'd say not. It's actually an outright lie. The prosecutor did not drop the charge "because I am innocent." He dropped the charge as part of a plea bargain in which he pled guilty to a lesser charge. That's not beating the rap.

Also I bet I know why he found the disturbing the peace plea an offer he couldn't refuse. Unlike a d.v. rap it won't mean he has his guns taken away.

So I can’t speak for Missouri but I’ve had something similar happen (not DV, but a charge reduced to DtP)

The police are called because of a loud public argument. At the point in which they are called, they are only told something like “this person has a weapon” or “this person was threatening me”, so they arrive prepared to charge someone with assault or domestic violence. The cop’s job is to get the situation settled as fast as possible, so they come, assess the situation, and recommend a charge. They’re not lawyers, so all they can really do is assess the facts that they have and make a recommendation.

Blah blah blah, court stuff happens, but typically when you go from a violent charge to Disturbing the Peace (versus having charges dropped), it’s because you were definitely guilty of being an asshole and provoking the situation, but nobody got hurt and no property was damaged, so you get it dropped to “being a loud asshole in public“, ie. DtP

He says on his FB post that a $150 fine was a lot less money than continuing to pay his lawyer for a case whose next court date was going to be next year. Mommy is paying and he probably wanted to go through with it but she put her foot down.

Yes you fucking retards, he's going to counter sue the DA in a criminal case. That's exactly what's going to happen.

We've been over this before but LowT will sue Logan for libel and he will lose because there are multiple police reports and pictures of her injuries taken while in the hospital after fucking passing out and his other bullshit with his ex-wives and kids will also come into play. In civil court you don't have to prove shit. Judge will take one look at the hospital records and police reports and say "Yeah looks like this all actually happened, so her talking about it isn't libel. Sorry boutcha!"

Not a lawyer, but isn't libel one of the most difficult and expensive civil torts to prove? And of course, truth is an absolute defense to it.

I'm actually more suspicious of Logan following this shit, compounded with the fact that she apparently just stopped talking to the prosecutor:

I had been wondering previously, since the sweaty toes incident and the black eye incident were told very differently, and she had been reluctant to even hand her hospital records re: the black eye incident over to the police. Logan making an apology post followed by an apology video and then declining to press the matter further at all rings of the second incident being totally fabricated. Granted, Richard is just as much of a lying sack of shit as Logan and he reads this thread constantly.

Yeah, and the fact that his criminal case wasn't dismissed and the charges were not dropped will actually make it worse for him. He's got a history of being a total douchebag to all of his exes that a judge could just look at that without even talking to anybody else.

LOL what's he going to sue Bogan for? The net worth of her non existent marketing company? The non-salary he didn't pay her as his Chief Marketing Officer of Something Awful?
Yeah and this is called being "judgment proof." We don't put people in prison for debt here so if you sue someone who doesn't have jack shit you're just not likely to get it.

Even though parallels to OJ seem excessive since Lowtax definitely did not kill a bitch, OJ lost the civil suit brought by his ex wife's family and they had to take him back to court to get anything from him because he initially decided to just not pay even though he had the money.
