New York Post got their hands on a hard drive from Hunter Biden's laptop and shows Joe Biden lied about Hunter's dealings with Ukraine

Couple stories on the New York Post

FBI has had the laptop for over a year already and didn't say anything. Remember when Trump got impeached for congratulating the new President of the Ukraine?

What the hell is the FBI doing?

Supposedly there is also a video of him engaged in a "sex act" and a couple of photo's of him. This is one is particular juicy

That's avoidance.

If you're an alcoholic because you're too cowardly to go seek proper psychiatric care while also being too dumb to recognize the damage compulsive liquor consumption causes to the rest of your life, you're not "medicating" anything.

Because that would acknowledge that everything else is true. Since the rest of it is all authentic, the fake signature doesn't matter.

The best play is for Hunter to just stay hidden away at this point and let daddy run interference.
If my doctor prescribed me oxycontin it's medication, even if it has bad side effects.
Medication doesn't mean good, just differentiating from recreational.

If you do a drug to "be normal" or "get through the day" that's self medicating. It's also a very typical sign of addiction, which yeah, is bad.

My example was theoretical, not based on myself, but fuck you anyway for saying addiction means a person is cowardly, @muh_moobs . Your schtick of saying dumb shit because you're afraid to engage makes you really stunning and brave though...

This is the best signature comparison I have seen, and I think you're right. In all of the signatures confirmed provided by RHB, he uses two pen-strokes to draw his signature. On the receipt at the repair shop it's one pen-stroke for the entire signature.
They are all too inconsistent to tell which is real. No 2 of them look like the same person's signature. He's just a barely literate crackhead who barely knows how to sign his own name.

I grew up around addicts and have worked with them extensively in my adult life. Not once have I met an addict who ended up that way by making the decision that "to handle X problem I need to do Y". Universally, every addict I've known started partying in jr. high/high school, decided it was fun, and just kept going.
Well, now you've met one who never touched a drop of alcohol before college. And I haven't touched a drop of alcohol for several years. There was a period in between.

If that's not his signature, then why not say so? How does it help his cause at all by refusing to say so?

Has he made any statements on any of it? He's probably laying as low as possible, and clarifying that it wasn't actually him that dropped off the laptop filled with his pay-for-play receipts and dick pics doesn't really help his situation.

Notice that the document signature and the two DL signatures all vary a substantial amount. Whether it's because of the drugs, or just a natural quirk, the dude just doesn't have much consistency in his signatures.

You're right and you're wrong. While the appearance of his signature isn't consistent, which is an issue for sure, his methodology does remain consistent. Across all of the other signatures, he draws a line for the R and then scribbles out the rest of his signature.

The repair-shop receipt is just a single pen stroke, including the line for the R. That certainly stands out from the pattern.

It's like Yale will let anybody in these days.

There are many answers that could explain his behavior, one being that he's some sort of child abuse victim since many such people will seek out narcotics later in life, or two being that his highlife has shaped his expectations to be princely in nature and therefore views any expectation of restraint to be a Herculean burden, but he's probably just a raging narcissist considering all the inexplicable photos he's taken of himself naked for no adequate reason, the victim complex and the rampant hedonism. Hunter cannot stand not feeling high on himself nor can he stand his personal image being besmirched. The only major flaw in that hypothesis, however, is that Hunter has yet to take to Social Media and brag constantly about his personal life to the general public, so I have no idea what's really going on in that brain of his. Maybe he's a sufferer from depression.
I think he suffers from "my mom and sister died because my mom is a dumb bitch and I had a front row seat to it" with a big helping of having to play second fiddle to Beau after that.

Can't imagine having Joe Biden as a dad was easy either, what with all the sniffing and naked pool time.

On another couple of related notes...

First up, this caught my eye from the keypoint summary I linked just above. I've wanted to mention it before.

I take an interest in Airplanes/Fighter Jets/Bombers - that kind of thing. It always struck me how much the F-35 was obviously copied by the Chinese.

China Builds ‘Exact Replica’ Of US’ Stealth F-35 Jets

FC-31, that strives to match the American F-35, is pictured with its fuel-guzzling afterburners as it attains altitude. The logo of state-owned developer the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) is also clearly visible on the jet.

Now this might be total bollox, but it always stuck at the back of my mind - is this just a coinkydinky?

Up till now you could always tell your Migs from your Sukhois from your Eagles from your Tornadoes. But suddenly this final generation of jets (before it all goes Drone) seem to look the same. Mmmm...

Now it's well known that China copies, steals in fact. Japan actually gets the blueprints legally and from the time they started being the recipients of the outsourcing of the American Fender Stratocaster, for one example, they did a better job of it than the Yanks. Miniaturization of components for computers, etc. etc. is another field where they embrace, extend and exemplify. But the fucking chinks just rob everyone blind. That's a given.

I think the Japs even have their version of American tech with F-35's, Eagles and Phantoms. I'm no expert. But fuck, the chinks weren't meant to get that kind of shit were they? It looks exactly the fucking same. But nobody says anything. Enough sperging about that. Maybe some one can page Bone Buddy who posts here some times (forget his proper handle).

Somebody fucking somewhere sold this tech to them. And this is not just at the expense of American jobs and economics, it's at the expense of sharing your military fucking secrets with your greatest enemy. The very fucking definition of treason. These people need to hang, not even in minecraft, but according to the laws of the land.

Fascinating, I'm cautiously optimistic about this not working well for the Chinese though.

The choice to pursue a 2 engine design for a single engine fighter they in theory have the plans to feels like a compromise somewhere, and my guess is that they can't match the single engine performance of the F35 without using 2 engines. All that shit trickles down, so my bet is on worse range and inferior stealth at best, the latter being a symptom of the necessitated redesign to accommodate 2 engines which will necessarily be less well tuned than the original single engine design. Stealth design is such a touchy thing and little tiny compromises start to add up.

That said, I'm absolutely in agreement that it looks like they got sold at least some part of the design. Sure would be unfortunate if the Bidens are implicated somehow...the F35 project was a fucking clownshow of overruns and engineering desperation (no, its fine, just mill the entire airframe out of a solid titanium billet, ITS FINE) so all that hard very expensive work shamelessly getting copied has to chafe some powerful people pretty bad. 🤔

Addiction is maladaptive avoidance of a problem. It is not medicating or a therapeutic. The language "self-medicating" is a whole-cloth fabrication from social workers in order to advance their grift, and is designed expressly to do so. By using similar language to the medical profession it helps them to sell to the public that the solution to addiction is medical intervention and that it is a "public health crisis".

It's so stunning and brave that you're so keen to be an enabler and engage in people's self-indulgence, though. Sure must have struck a nerve for you to get so upset.

And that's the mistake. Most informed right leaning people get their info from the internet not newspapers. There are no newspapers large or small that serve red constituencies. In the early 2000's the right moved to the blogosphere. And talk radio is a thing. Boomers, young and old, watch Fox.

The right's sphere of influence is talk radio and the internet not newspapers, which could be your answer as to why no papers are reporting on it.
Is that why every time a right-winger argues for something, their sources are dismissed as 'blogs citing other blogs"?
