I find it disturbing the way some transgender language revolves around natural hormones "poisoning" the person, and I am disappointed to hear sharkboy say that. The little bit of sympathy I felt for him has slipped away. It's cropped up a few times in this thread -- this idea that a completely natural process has somehow poisoned somebody. It's trying to evoke the idea of victimhood and it is just so disingenuous. There has been no poisoning; your body has not suddenly decided to release some harmful toxin into your body.
