This is a long way short of Star Shitizen though. This actually has defined end states. Star Citizen has shown nothing other than demanding more money and selling pre-orders on microtransactions. Here, we've had definitive gameplay footage, previews of actual content and so forth. The game map has come out. The art guide has come out (on here and other places). There has been a hands-on press event for it. This is clearly not vaporware. This isn't like Star Shitizen where they got their tame fanboys to ooh and aah over basic gameplay features, like, erm, flying the spaceships and, erm, landing on planets.
Like I said earlier in the thread I will admit to being a bit crushed by the extra delay, esp. as it's after it's gone gold, but I'm not seething about it like some people are. I do accept that it's hurt a lot of goodwill towards the game. I suspect it'll probably have damaged its review scores because GARME JURNALIZTS hated CDPR anyhow over the twanzphobia (see the ReeeeeeeesetEra thread) and the Chromanticore advert and shooting at a predominantly black gang marked "Animals" and all that, so there'll be more motive for them and also the public at large to pick at minor faults.
