So, what does the MSM think happens should they be exposed as Biden cheerleaders and obfuscators the likes of K-Pop stans?
Depends on who wins and this has been disccused before. If Trump wins they probably be able to survive for four more years to preach to the wokeites, but if Biden wins the MSM is done. there will probably be people who still tune in but they wont be able to keep up a 24 hours news cycle or provide meaningful coverage. Fox
may outlive them if Biden wins but they have a massive market share.
I think the censorship the big tech did a few weeks ago actually will do tremendous long term damage. Twitter is only relevant because the prez uses it, pre 2016 Twitter was dying and Twitter has really just become a reeing echo chamber at this point that more fun for outsides to drop hornets nests into and watch what happens. I think there will be more social media alternatives in the near future. Facebook has already hit its peak a few years ago and is now in decline. Google will be around for a while until something better comes along and can unseat them (it will happen one day it is inevitable) I think Alphabet played it smart to try and stay as low key as possible and avoid doing blatent mass censorship Twitter and Facebook did but there is still a lot of talk about shadow banning and stuff with youtube.
However I think that down the road they will get broken up because they are strangling out competition.
Overall I think we are seeing an information adaption in progress. People are just smart enough and the tools are available enough that the Internet cant be truly censored. (VPN's can get around just about anything and have other "legitimate" purposes so they probably will not be criminalized).
Mastodon is intriguing to me because it is open source and federated. I know that the creators tried to distance "far right" elements who use that platform, whatever that means, but with an open source system like that I doubt they can do anything other than try.
Video sharing sites competing with Youtube are definatly a lower quality but I think that is something that can be overcome. I dont know if there are any real Facebook alternatives out there but I think Facebook is becoming less relevant with each passing day.
--edit--
Also as for sending them money thats possible but I doubt they will be relevant, look at NPR and PBS who cares what they have to say?
